(Hi! Before you start reading i just wanna say a few things. You guys are 16 in this story and also there will be lgbtq content so if you're not comfortable reading about it you don't have to! hope you enjoy <3)

Shuyang's pov:
"...and here is your dorm which you will be sharing with your roommate." The principal says as he gives me the keys to my dorm.

" there will be a speech in the assembly hall later so I suggest you unpack now. If you need anything or want to ask something you may go to the information center on the first floor or you can ask your roommate. Goodbye." The principal says and walks away.

I unlock my dorm and look around. It's not that bad i guess. There's a bunk bed, two desks, a bathroom, a big closet, and a kitchenette. I place one of my suitcases on the bottom bunk and start to unpack.

After unpacking, i hear the door open and in comes a boy who's slightly taller than me.

" hey! Im Gou Mingrui, your roommate." Mingrui says cheerfully as he struggles to get his suitcases through the door.

"Im Ren Shuyang. Um do you need help?" I ask as I approach him.

" well if you're offering." Mingrui chuckles as i grab one of his suitcases. I place his stuff next to the bunk bed and sit on one of the desks. After talking for a while, we headed to the assembly hall and sat down.

"Hey! Long time no see." A boy says as he sits down next to Mingrui.

"Oh hey! How are you? Oh this is Shuyang by the way." Mingrui says as he gestures to me.

Sup. Im xinlong." He says as we shake hands. The principal then arrives and starts the speech.

"Welcome back students! We're glad to have you..." his voice trails off as i spot someone sitting a couple rows in front of me.

"Hey who's that?" I ask Mingrui as i nod my head over to the girl.

"Her? That's y/n. I don't know much about her but  Xinlong does." Mingrui says.

"Psst. Xinlong! You know her?" I ask as i gesture to the girl.

"Yea. Why?" He asks.

"Just curious." I say while looking away from her.

After the speech, me and Mingrui said goodbye to Xinlong and headed back to the dorm and got ready for bed. We both said good night to each other then fell asleep.
