Shuyang's pov:

"Shuyang wake up! Don't you wanna eat breakfast?" I was awoken by Mingrui violently shaking me.

"Alright alright I'm awake" i say half asleep. Mingrui stops shaking me as i get up and head to the bathroom to get ready for the day.

After taking a shower and putting my uniform on, me and Mingrui head to the cafeteria. On our way i accidentally bump into a boy walking with his friend.

"Watch where you're going! You almost stepped on my shoes" one of the boys said while looking at us with disgust.

"Sorry! It was an accident okay?" I apologized.

"Tsk. Sorry isn't enough. Do that one more time and I'll break your arm." The boy says as him and his friend walk away.

"Geez. Whats his problem?" I ask Mingrui as we start walking again.

"Dude, be careful around them. You never know what they'll do." Mingrui says in a serious tone.

"Why? Are they actually gonna break my arm on school property?" I chuckle but stopped when I realized Mingrui wasn't kidding.

"Last year there was a huge fight in the halls. Some guy is in a coma because of those three." Mingrui Says.

"Three?" I said confused.

"Yup. Zhu Zhixin, Zuo Hang, and Su Xinhao. They're pretty much the biggest jerks in school. Anyways, last year Su Xinhao beat up his own classmate and pushed him down a flight of stairs just because he accidentally spilled water all over his desk. Su Xinhao ended up getting suspended but only for a month." Mingrui says as we walk into the cafeteria.

"Holy shit." i say shocked.

"That's not all. Once Zuo Hang and Su Xinhao threatened to kill some poor guy who liked the same girl as Zhu Zhixin. Those two will basically do anything Zhu Zhixin says. Not sure why." Mingrui says as we enter the cafeteria and grab trays.

"You shouldn't worry about that though. As long as you stay out of their way you'll be fine." He says while grabbing some food to add on his tray.

We finish grabbing our food and head over to a table where Xinlong is sitting.

"Morning! What's up?" Xinlong says as we sit down.

"We came across them on our way here." Mingrui says as he gestures to Su Xinhao and Zuo Hang.

"Oh no. What happened?" Xinlong asks.

"I accidentally bumped into him, said i was sorry, got threatened, and now I'm here." I say as i open a bottle of water.

"Dude your screw- Hey be careful! That's my breakfast!" Xinlong says as someone places a couple pieces of paper on top of his food.

"Sorry. Just came to say i finished the project." A girl said.

It was her.

"Y/n this is Shuyang and Mingrui." Xinlong says while checking the papers.

"Hi. Im y/n." She says while smiling at us.

"Hi." We both say in unison.

"Hey y/n come join us! We're more interesting!" A voice yells from across the room.

"Gotta go. Nice meeting you two by the way. See ya around!" She waves as she walks off.
