Breakfast
Natalia sat down, next to Wilson, ranting to him.
"And I'm worried for her Wilson." She muffled taking a bite from her egg boloney sandwich, earning a chuckle from Wilson.
"She barley knows how to build a fire and cook a lizard." She added chewing. "She doesn't know how to skin a bear, hunt, or even create a bow and arrow." She swallowed her food and took a drink from her plastic cup filled with tap water. "Does she at least know how to get the bacteria from the rivers water?" He asked and she shook her head no.
"She knows how to catch a fish..."
Wilson shrugged, not knowing how to react. "Thats good..."
A few moments later breakfast ended and they parted.
The Forest
Panting and running for her life, Nadia ran near the river. Lions don't really like water... right? She swam to the other side, and laid flat on the floor, catching her breath. "Oh god." She said to herself. She moved herself to lay back against a tree, scanning the new area. She looked down at her hands that were scratched and a little bloody. She tilted her head back in annoyance hitting the bark of the tree really hard.
She let out a whimper and ,messaged the back of her head, seeing something fall to the ground. She nudged her head back in surprise and turned her head, to see a coconut. She looked up and saw a few coconuts on the tree. A smile grew on her face from relief and grabbed it.
"THANK THE LORD!!" She yelled full of happiness. She grabbed a sharp rock she saw and cut it from the top. Slowly, not wanting to drop any coconut water, she brought it to her mouth. She put her lips on the rim of the coconut and started drinking. Soon it was gone and she felt refreshed. "Maybe a five minute nap will do the trick..." and with those words, she shut her eyes.
Archery
"You have your bow?" Wilson asked as they walked to the field.
"Yep. Do you have the courage to flirt with Samantha?" Natalia responded, knowing she'd make him nervous.
He didn't answer, looking down at the ground.
"I don't know, did you enjoy training with Eric yesterday?" She rolled her eyes.
"Willys got a crush..." She sang, poking him and jumping around. " How many times have I told you to stop calling me 'Willy'?" Wilson complained.
"Many times, but will I stop? No." She assured teasingly.
He sighed, knowing she wouldn't stop.
A few moments later, they were split into groups of three. Obviously Natalia and Wilson were together, but another girl was partnered with them.
"I'm Katerina Leviosa." The girl said as she reached her hand out to shake Natalias hand.
"Natalia Romanova." She grabbed her hand and shook it.
The day went on. Katerina and Natalia got along great. They made fun of Wilson when he was trying to flirt with Samantha. Natalias worries were gone by distraction, until it wasn't.
Natalia pulled back the bow string, aiming it towards the target. After a few seconds, she released the arrow, and it flew. It didn't hit the exact middle, but it still hit the middle.
"That was good." Katerina complimented.
"Not as good as I." A male voice said behind them.
The two girls turned to see Nathaniel Riddle. He was the type of guy who thought he was better then everyone, that he can do what he pleased. Some girls fell for him, others despised them. Katerina and Natalia were both part of the girls who despised him.
"What are you doing here Riddle?" Katerina said with a stern voice.
"Shouldn't you be in quote on quote 'advance martial arts'?" Natalia stated, "Or are you to busy looking at yourself?" She added.
A slight chuckle came from Wilson who was watching the whole thing. "Which to be honest, theirs not much to look at."
"I don't know, have you found out about that brat you call 'sister' who so happens to be in the Forest. She probably won't last long will she?" Nathanial teased.
Natalia was fuming. They could all see it. Her breath became a little faster and she gave him a death glare. She scoffed an started walking towards the target bag. She could hear him laughing, thinking he won. But he didn't.
She held onto her bow, tightly as she ripped out the arrow. She pulled it back, aiming towards him. She released and it hit his shoulder, causing him to whimper a little bit. A smile grew on her face as she walked back.
"Nice shot." Wilson said, earning a scoff from her.
"No it wasn't, I was aiming towards his neck." She proceeded to walk up to him.
"If I hear Nadia's name come out of your mouth again... I'll make sure, you won't be able to walk again." She said in his face.
"Is that a threat?" He snickered and smirked which quickly faded with her response.
"No. It's a promise." Silence filled the area, kids gathered around. "Keep the arrow, it's filthy now." She added and walked towards the facility, ignoring everyone's reaction.
8:30pm
Turning off the the showers water, and putting on her clothes, Natalia grabbed her hairbrush when their was a knock on the door.
Weird. They never knock. Who could it be
She thought to herself. She walked to the door, and turned the knob. She pulled the door open, and saw Nadia. Full of bruises, her clothes were ripped, and she had a few cuts on her body, mostly her face.
She couldn't believe her eyes.
"N- Nadia?" She stuttered as a smile appeared on both their faces. Nadia gave her a nod, reassuring her.
Natalia let her inside, they both stood facing each other a few feet away. After moments of silence, they both ran up and gave each other a tight hug. Natalia stroked her hair from relief. She was alive. "How- how are you here-" She was cut off.
"Because your going to switch places with her." A female voice said behind them. She quickly pulled away only to see Blueberry standing there.
"w-what?" Natalia said in disbelief.
Two men came in and grabbed her arms. She started shaking her head.
"No. No- NO!" She yelled on the top of her lungs as they escorted her out of the building.
