I stopped going to actual school in the 5th grade when I joined the academy so when my mother was driving me to school Monday morning I was a little out of it seeing as I had had the same friends since the 5th grade and I hadn't had to make any new ones. When we finally arrived at Garces the first thing I noticed was everyone already in the group of friends and I began to feel as though this wasn't going to go well but never the less we walked into the school office everyone staring at me like they knew I was knew and when the school size is 400 people I guess spotting the new girl wasn't exactly hard.

As we entered the office the lady at the front desk lead us the principal's office where we were greeted by a middle-aged women hair in bun wearing a beige colored pant suit and black heels. "Hello there! You must be our new student, i'm Ms. Coleridge, it's a pleasure to have you!"

"It's a pleasure to be here, thank you for allowing my daughter to transfer her this close to school ending." My mother exclaimed. "It's no problem we are more than welcome to have your daughter here with us!" Ms. Coleridge said as though I was a gift sent from above. "Nice tomeet you Ms. Coleridge" I final spoke as to not seem rude. "It's a pleasure. Now I heard from your mother that you were in the Junior Military Academy back in your hometown, that's very exciting." Ms.Coleridge said as she looked through my file the academy must have sent over.

The morning was spent with in Ms.Colridges' office until she finally walked me to my first period class, Spanish 1. "Alright sweetie text me when you're ready for me to pick you up, I love you!" with that my mother was off to start her first day of work at the bank.

As I entered the door everyone stopped talking and turned to look at me seeing as class had started 15 minutes ago. "Hola mi nombre es señora Limpias, you must be our new student! Clase what do we say?" with a loud grown the class in a disorganized manner all said, "hola".

Moving on throughout the day I got the various new student welcomes and all the same questions of what my name was, where was I from, why did I move, and finally the always awkward what was something interesting about me. I didn't know how to respond to that last one because I've never done anything besides academy training I didn't have time for hobbies but don't get me wrong I've played sports and I'm good, but I really struggled on that question, so when asked about something interesting about myself I simply stated that I knew how to fly A plane I figured out of everything the academy taught me, flying a plane was the least scary.

The first two weeks went by smooth every night I called Nick and Dwayne and they would tell me about the crazy training sessions they had or how they got a new teacher today and they're fun, and I would tell them that schools boring without them and I couldn't wait till summer is finally here and I could go back to the academy and kick their butts again. I had also found a gym nearby with a training coach who was an ex-marine so when I told him about the academy he knew just how to push me so that when I went back I was in even better shape than when I left. This is how the first month kept on until I finally started getting noticed a school.

It all started in Spanish class we were taking a test and I was doing great the academy had already been teaching us Spanish and I was already fluent but since I came so late in the school year I couldn't move Spanish was easy but know body knew that, they also didn't know that I spoke fluent Russian. That is until the boys in the back of the class started disrupting the class and cursed them all in Russian, then some other kids started yelling at me and I cursed them in Spanish. That's when senora Limpieza finally realized why after only being in her class for a month I already had the highest grade. This is also when people started to realize that my "nobody new girl persona was a big fake".

During lunch I sat in our school's cafeteria which was slightly crowded but nonetheless I sat at an empty long table in the corner of the cafeteria choosing to sit by myself and listening tomusic or talking to Nick and Dwayne if our breaks matched. I was completely contempt with sitting by myself and then he came over. Let me introduce to you all Noah Higgs. I had only been at this school and from what I could tell he was a big deal, starting varsity basketball play as a freshman big deal, plus he as Garces' all American sweetheart.

"Hi, I'm Noah Higgs I say you were sitting by yourself and I wanted to say'' hi." He said looking at me with the nicest smile ever which made me start to wander off and think about what happened to all the other genuinely nice people. As I continued to stare at him with a blank expression he told me with the nicest voice ever, "So I was wondering if you...." and just like that, the bell rang interrupting what he was saying and we both parted our separate ways me to English and him to god knows were.

To my surprise, after our little chit chat in the cafeteria more people noticed me, I guess being talked to by the almighty Noah Higgs was a god send. It was in English when our teacher asked us to pick partners for an assignment that a bubbly brunette girl sat down right next to me and in my chemistry class that a dark-haired boy with light skin made it a point to make me his partner for lab that day. I didn't know rather to thank Noah for making my days less lonely or murder him for giving so much unwanted attention.

After school that day I went to the gym, plugged my music in, and worked out everything I had pent up, from still being angry we moved to today with stupid Noah Higgs giving some much unwanted attention. Hearing a beep from my phone I checked only to be met with a text from my mother telling me to come home and shower because we had some of my father's coworkers coming over for dinner and I need to get showered and changed.

Having showered and changed into a pair of black skinny jeans and a maroon shirt with a small pocket on the right-hand side and my shiny black combat boots I walked down stairs to help my mother set the table. Just as I entered the kitchen the doorbell and my mother told me to get the door while she called for my father to tell him his guest were here.

Opening the door, I was greeted by a tall man in a suit, a short woman wearing a green dress that wasn't quite a hunter green but a little lighter, and finally my eyes rested on whom I recognized from school and whom I presumed was there daughter. As I closed the door behind them my father entered the room greeting them and introducing my mother and me.

"Welcome Marshall! Welcome, this is my wife Carol and daughter" my father said excitedly "Thank you for inviting us! This is my wife Liv and my daughter Veronica", "Dinner should be ready any moment" my mother stated as she invited Liv to the kitchen and Marshall followed my father to the backyard to check on the grill which left me and Veronica alone. "Hi,I'm Veronica" she said as she stuck her hand out, "um hi, do you want to go up to my room?" and without even realizing that I had all my academy belongs thrown across my room we headed up the stairs to the one place I never wanted anyone to see.

As we entered my room the look on her face was shocking to say the least, I guess having a military uniform hung in your room and a certificate saying you can fly a plane for the U.S government signed personally by the president is a dead giveaway that your kind of a military brat. As she turned around to face me the look in her eyes surprisingly wasn't one of fear but of excitement.

"I can explain!" I said as she began to yell out how and what 's., "Well get to explain!" she yelled excitedly as we sat down on my bed. "Well my family and I used to live in Texas where I was in the Junior Military Academy since I was 5. The academy was where I met my best friends we all pushed each other while learning things like shooting and how to fly a plane." I stated as I pointed to the pictures of Nick, Dwayne and I with our guns and my flying certificate. "Does anyone know about this at school?!" she asked excitedly "No, most people wouldn't like the fact that I'm basically a trained assassin." "Girls dinners ready!!" we heard my mother yell and with that we walked down stairs.
