Meeting deku

Deku stepped out in an old looking hoodie and some joggers. They weren't in the best condition but they were almost brand new compared to the others. He was paler than before but he did land face first into the ground and about to meet hero's who before that day he only talked to online.

The walk there was mostly in silence with the occasional general chatter. The more they approached the more nervous he got. The place they were going was by the alley he got bet up last night but he didn't tell aizawa that.

When they were there he stopped at the alley, He wasn't a planing to but he just had to look back. The cat was gone but there was still his puke and blood, his breathing increased and he felt like running away. Aizawa made him go sit down on a bench a little far away, he said he would change the location so he could feel more comfortable.

He left to go tell the others about the change of plan and to tell them to investigate the alley later. When he returned he saw deku sitting there still breathing quickly. Ms joke instantly tried to run up and comfort him but aizawa stopped her. She glared at him but did as he said.

"This is izuku Midoriya, he is deku. We just need to let him calm down on his own. he has a distrust in hero's, I suspect it extends to authority figures as well. Just give him time. Try not to surround him and leave a clear area for him to run if he feels like it."

With time he eventually calmed down and the hero's could introduce themselves.

"Hello, I'm sir nighteye. It's great to finally meet you deku."

"Hey little guy, I'm mr brave!"

"Hi deku! I'm ms joke! Your really cute y'know that!"

Midoriya winced but it wasn't from them calling him deku, he felt like they were saying deku like a good thing. Their volume was what made him scared, only ka-chan used that volume with him and that was when he was beating him up.

"Hi... sorry for ghosting you... and thanks for the good luck messages this morning..."  me mumbled, stuttering every other word.

His cuteness was too much, everyone except aizawa awed at him. Ms joke went and hugged him, he was stiff and surprised at first but he slowly melt into the hug. He was still shaking really bad and He hadn't had a hug from anyone in a while, he was reminded of his mom and began crying. All the hero's were concerned, he broke down because of a hug.

Tsukauchi wasn't there was he had to go and bag and tag everything in the alleyway as evidence as well as taking photos but when he did get there he saw ms joke hugging, presumably, deku who was crying. This made him even more desperate to open a case into this but he had to confirm it was his blood before he could look any further into it.

"Hello deku, I'm tsukauchi. It's great to finally meet you."

Deku didn't look up, he was clearly delirious. It looked like he didn't get much sleep and he was sure recovery girls treatment only made that worse. Eventually dekus cries muffled out and it seemed he fell asleep.

"I know where he lives, let's take him back" aizawa said "I had to take him back earlier and while we walk there I can explain everything that happened and you can see the apartment he lives in."

Mr brave was carrying him as aizawa explained everything.

"As I said, I suspected it was him at the gates with the way he acted. He was the only students saw nervous around a hero. When I let him go on he ran to catch up with a friend when he fell and a stitch opened up in his arm. The amount of blood was that of parallel to the drug bust we did 2 years ago. He was in an awful state. His friend ran over and didn't know how to help him, that's when I ran up to him and told Shinso to get the teachers. When I tried to treat him on the scene he wouldn't let me touch him and I think he started to have a panic attack, he wouldn't let anyone but his friend touch him. Then we put him on a stretcher and midnight helped me take him to the nurse but on the way there he passed out. The nurse looked him over and found bruises, scratches and burn marks everywhere. Some cuts were so deep they had stitches but they weren't done by a doctor. This kid has been getting beaten up every day and treating himself. His friend wanted to miss the exam and stay with deku. I told him I would stay there until he woke up and shinso eventually agreed to take the exam. Deku woke up during the practical in a panic, he wanted to see how his friend was doing completely ignoring everything that had happened to himself. Of course I allowed him to watch, I think he would've had another panic attack if he couldn't. Then I went to get his bag and I had to search it as standard procedure. It had his notebook where he done all the analyses but it was burned and had water damage. Then there were his support items which were the same as shinsos and I thought they were prototypes by some big company but I found another notebook with the designs and his writing, there were lots of designs some of which I saw the materials for at his house. Then there was all the medical supplies we had with him, it was almost like he expected to get beaten up during or after the test. I gave him his bag back and asked what happened. He lied the first time but then I mentioned getting a friend from the police force involved, referring to you tsukauchi, and I think he half-lied. He said his friend was practicing his quirk and he got stuck in the crossfire, he still defended whoever hurt him. Then when I said his parents had to sign him out he said his dad was overseas and that he didn't know where his mom was. I'm not sure if she's working or something but the place he lives is unacceptable. This kid barely has any food and his friend said that he even nearly starved once. And even with all that he was still working out every day, free running, sparring and creating compact gadgets all for his friend shinso."

"Wow, this kid must be crazy" mr brave butted in

"I got shinso to preach for his place in UA and he will have an apprenticeship under nezu but It probably won't help his housing situation."

"Is it really is that bad" tsukauchi asked

"You'll have to see for yourself"

The rest of the journey was filled with worried chatter. They were thinking of ways to help but without him being an official student at UA yet they couldn't do much.

They were approaching the apartment and izuku woke up, he was hyperventilating as he was being carried by mr brave. He struggled and tried to walk but he fell, mr brave insisted on carrying him but izuku was adamant that he could walk. He kept telling him not to touch him, almost crying again. Aizawa eventually couldn't keep pretending not to care, he had a reputation to uphold but the kid takes priority.

"I'll carry you of I have to" he said, trying to still appear like he didn't really care

He still fought back but he gave in eventually. He was way too light. aizawa was going to protect this kid with his life if he had to. Just thinking about what he had to go through and for how long made him mad. Ms joke was commenting on how deku was like their child even though they weren't even together. Tsukauchi was talking to sir nighteye and mr brave about opening the case once the blood analysis was completed. Aizawa was stuck with ms joke but deku seemed to like her which made her a little more bearable.

Getting up the stairs was too easy for comfort. He was carrying a 12 year old kid, he should be struggling at least a little bit. Once they were in the apartment it became clear that the lights didn't work. Tsukauchi used the flashlight on his phone and everyone gasped, even Aizawa who was there before. Then darkness made it look worse. Deku was embarrassed and clinged on tighter to aizawa, he wouldn't usually do that but he was the person he trusted most in the room.

Aizawa went and took him to his room and saw the dark themed blanket and pillow. That was all he really had in his room other than his mattress on the floor and a laptop that he presumably used to talk to them. He put him on the mattress and tucked him in. He practically passed out again, he was really tired.

Aizawa had to report everything back to nezu and tsukauchi had to get the blood analysis done. The others had nothing else to do but aizawa made them leave as deku clearly didn't trust them. With that they all left.
