Mortals Meet Percabeth

Valentine's Day

Third Person POV: 

18-year-old Annabeth Chase woke up and added the last few touch-ups to her Valentine's Day card to her boyfriend, Percy Jackson. "Aw, shoot! 8:00?!" She said, looking at her watch. She put on her grey owl t-shirt, black jeans, and her white sweater. She got into her car and drove off to the store she works at. 

"I see you made it." Her manager said, frowning.  "Oh my gods, I am SO  sorry. It won't happen again. It's Valentine's Day you see, so--" Annabeth said but she stopped when she saw a smile tugging at her employer's face. "Just once I'll let you go. I know it won't happen." She smiled. Annabeth sighed in relief and got to work, stacking Valentine's Day cupcakes. 

---------------------TIME SKIP TO TWO HOURS LATER----------------------

Annabeth brushed her blonde hair out of her face and put the mop away. Just then, she felt an arm slide around her waist. As a reflex, she elbowed the person in the ribs as hard as possible. The grip slackened and an extremely familiar voice said, "Holy Hades! Do you want my last words to you to be "OW?!" "You--Wha--How--SEAWEED BRAIN?!" She spluttered. "Geez, Wise Girl. Are you blind?!" Percy smiled at his girlfriend. "I swear to the gods..." She started but he cut her off with a kiss that she very happily returned. 

"So, you wanna get outta here?" He asked, breaking away. 

"You know it." She smiled, pulling him into another kiss.

Annabeth Chase POV: 

Do I have the best boyfriend or what? He actually surprised me at work today!! 

Usually, he only picks me up, but still!

I grabbed his card off my dresser when I got home, being very careful not to smudge up the words and crumple the paper when I put it in my bag. I pulled on my FAVOURITE grey dress and black heeled boots. When I walked out, I saw my Seaweed Brain in a navy blue tuxedo! He looked so grown up that for a second, I forgot we were the same age! 

I snapped out of it and he said in the worst British accent I have ever heard, "Shall we, milady?"

Percy Jackson POV: 

My palms were sweating when I saw her looking stunning in her dress. I straightened my tuxedo and I said, "Shall we milady?" She laughed and I leaned down to kiss her. She kissed me back happily. I put my hands on her waist, she put her arms around my neck (As promised, fluff!!). It was pretty much the best kiss ever. I pouted when she broke away. We got into my car and drove to the beach. 

There, I made sure the tide was not rough. It took so much concentration. So, I put down a blanket and she handed me a card. "To Seaweed Brain." It said. I opened it and it revealed so many photos of us!! I gasped and hugged her as tight as possible. "I love you, Wise Girl," I whispered. "I love you too, Seaweed Brain." She answered. When we stopped hugging, I leaned forward and I gave her a soft kiss. She returned it passionately. I put my hands on her waist and pulled her closer to me. She put her arms around my neck and we deepened the kiss. She smiled against my lips and said, "I love you." I broke away and I started to tickle her. "Sea--Weed--Brain!!" She said between laughs. This continued and then it was time to go. I saw Piper, Jason, Leo, Hazel and Frank there. "Hey, LOVEBIRDS," Piper said. "Hi, Pipes." Annabeth smiled. 

We all chatted for a while. Then, I took out the small, velvet box from my pocket. Everyone gasped. I turned to Annabeth. "Annabeth, I have loved you for years now. I want to spend the rest of my life with you." I said. I got down on one knee and I opened the box, revealing the ring. "Annabeth Chase, Will you marry me?" I asked her. She gasped and had happy tears coming down her cheeks. "Percy!! OF COURSE, I'll marry you!" She gasped, tears still streaming down her cheeks. She came at me and crushed her lips into mine. I returned it with full force and I pulled her close to me ultimately pulling her off her feet. Everyone went "AWWWWWWWW" I put her down and we went home.

Annabeth's POV: '

I CAN'T BELIEVE PERCY JUST PROPOSED TO ME!!! I'M OFFICIALLY ANNABETH JACKSON!!!

YAY!!!!!
