I find Bash storming off into an empty storage room. How he knows it is open and available I have no idea.

"Bash we should probably talk about what just happened," I say trailing behind him kicking the door shut with my foot. He pauses when he hears my presence but doesn't turn around.

"I rather not," he growls ripping his mask off his head. He slowly swivels to me and his whole body is wound up and tight. His shoulders are pulled back and his eyes are a heated blue.

I blow air from my nose frustrated. "I want to know what you are thinking. I don't like when you behave like that. I already have enough people trying to control my life. I don't need you forcing your way in too," I demand.

"I know! I am sorry Emma." He clenches his fists. "Dammit! I am always goddamn sorry and one second from seeing red. I'm just an angry guy!" He thunders.

"No." My voice softens. "You're not your emotions Bash. It's really okay. I just didn't want you to fight over something silly like that. Like honestly that dude just drank a little too much and got into the night. It's fine," I assure him.

"It is not fine when someone touches you without your permission," he states aggressively and a look flashes on his face like he wants to go back out and pummel the guy.

I cross my arms defensively. "I don't think it was any more than just a New Year's kiss. Let's just it go okay? I don't want you getting any more upset."

"But I am angry Emma!" he spits out.

"What! Why?" I throw my hands up. "I am literally over it, you should be too!"

He fumes and turns to leave the room, but I block his exit.

"Why are you this angry Bash?" I exclaim frustrated. He moves to go around me, but I angle my body again to make sure he doesn't run from this.

"No!" I yell. I step closer until I am right in front of him. "If something is wrong just say it!" I bark at him tired of his pointless protectiveness.

His face flushes. "Dammit! I didn't want him kissing you alright."

My temper flares. "Are you kiddin—"

"I don't want a damn person to touch you Emma, because it makes me fucking jealous!" He shouts exasperated cutting me off.

My jaw slacks as I gape at him.

"Wh-what?" I say in a whisper. Did he just say he's jealous? His eyes are still blazing before his entire body goes rigid.

I blink. "Wh-why are you jealous Bash?" I ask a little louder licking my dry lips. My mind is a storm unable to stop the thoughts flying around in my head.

He eyes me unnerved before chuckling a wild defeated laugh. "I-I am seriously screwed up," he mutters running a hand through his hair looking away.

"Why?" I say dumbstruck.

His gaze pins back to me once again burning.

"Because I am so beyond messed up Emma for how I think about you and reacting this way," he states gruffly. He steps back into the couch slumping into it defeated. He rubs his hands down his face all his fire gone. "You should go before I destroy everything more than I just did."

I daze in wonder at him, my brain still trying to pierce together his words. Sebastien is jealous that a guy kissed me. Hope blossoms in my chest like a flower sprouting from its roots. I cautiously approach him, delicately prying his hands away from his face.

"Bash?" I say gently.

His blue eyes drag up at me. "Please don't be nice to me right now," he murmurs.
