The Electric Ballroom is a small 1,500 person capacity venue in the Camden area of London. Known for hosting rock musicians, Harry has chosen it specifically for its intimate feel to celebrate this new album. Located less than a fifteen minute drive from his house, Harry could walk here if he could do so under a cloak of invisibility. Harry has left early for the venue, getting in a sound check with the band. Amy is hosting Anne, and Gemma and Michal at the house, planning to come closer to showtime. He kissed her for nearly ten minutes at the door before he left, remembering their conversation from earlier about living in the present and not the past. She's his now, and the only way to make up for lost time caused by stupid mistakes is to live the hell out of every day. So, he's kissing his fiancée for ten minutes at the door of their home before he leaves, because he can. And he should. And he wants to.
After sound check, he is backstage in the green room as friends from London start rolling in with cheers and hugs. A few of his cousins have come for the show, as well as his step siblings. A towering figure with a small entourage comes into the room next and he hears him shout, "HARRY!" and he gets pulled by the hand into a big hug. It's Stormzy, who has come as the special surprise guest. After seeing him at the Jingle Bell Ball they had texted about finding a time to collaborate. Stormzy released his album on the same day as Fine Line, so Harry invited him to perform tonight and he excitedly accepted.
He gets tapped by his stage manager to go for wardrobe, and hair and makeup so Harry excuses himself to head to his dressing room. On the way there, he sees his mom and Gemma and her boyfriend, Michal, coming down the hallway.
"Where's Amy?" he asks, giving them each a quick hug.
"She stopped to take a call. She's right at the end of the hallway with Tom."
Harry pops his head into his dressing room and tells them he'll be back in a minute and then jogs down the hallway to find his lady. He sees her from afar, a smile on her face and before he gets to her, she hangs up the phone and turns to walk. He nearly crashes into her, and she yelps in surprise, with Tom shaking his head at Harry's lack of spatial awareness.
"You scared me!" she says, pushing his chest but he doesn't budge, a big smile plastered on his face. He leans down and kisses her mouth before she can say another word.
When he pulls back from the kiss, he notices Tom has left and Amy is stunned.
"What was that for?" she asks, her arms still loped around his neck.
"I missed you," he answers calmly, throwing his arm around her shoulder and walking back towards his dressing room. She mirrors him, putting her one arm around his waist, while her other hand holds his hand that's around her.
"I missed you, too," she answers, smiling sideways at him.
"Who were you talking to?"
"Oh, my mom. I told her I'm going to come visit in January and she was really excited."
"That's great. I'm sure she really misses you," he says encouragingly.
They both go inside his dressing room, and he sits in the hair and makeup chair. He tries to pull Amy onto his lap too but she politely resists so she doesn't get in anyone's way. When his hair is perfectly coifed and his face is powdered to reduce shine, he stands up and lets Harry Lambert help him get dressed. Tonight he is wearing a soft buttery yellow, custom made Gucci suit. It's a shorter cut jacket, worn with wide trousers and matching button up shirt. He has a black belt and a black tie to complete the look, with cream-colored heeled boots.
