Big Mac's P.O.V.

I kicked at the barren tree, the only one left. Nothing fell into the bucket that I had set out to buck the tree for atleast one apple, but none fell. I looked back at the fencepost were AJ's hat lay, all torn and scratched from the battle. "Hello Big Mac." said Applebloom, walking home from school, and she too looked at the hat that lay still on the post. "Big Mac?" said Applebloom. "What?" I asked. "Do you think Applejack is ok, up in the RainbowClouds?" said Applebloom, softly. "I'm sure she is, she's with her friends, and she is probly watching us right now." I said very slowly, wanting Applebloom to memorize every word that I spoke with truth. "Well, I'm gonna go inside to greet Granny." said Applebloom, and ran into the barn. I stood watching the empty tree, wishing for apples to grow so we could finally be well-fed after the attack. As if my dreams came true, three big apples grew fastly on the thin branches. I kicked the tree with my hind legs and looked into the bucket. Three juicy ripe apples lay in the bucket. "Thank you Applejack." I praised, and I was sure that she heard me.
