I settle into the plain gray airplane seat that's going to be mine for the next 6 hours to Florida. I'm lucky that I got first-class. I think my mom felt bad about shipping me off to the bright, humid piece of crap. Good, she deserves to feel guilty. I had to leave all my friends, Jamie, Lindsey, and Claire. Not to mention Chase. I had to break it off with him before I left because I knew that long distance relationships never work out. I pull my honey-blonde hair up into a messy bun. If I'm going to be on this plane beside a random stranger for the next 6 hours, I might as well be comfortable. I close my eyes and lean back in my seat. It seems like only a few seconds have passed when I hear a perky woman's voice saying "I'm so sorry we couldn't get you a seat by your family, sir." A deep but gentle voice replies, "it's no problem, I see enough of them at home anyway." Followed by a chuckle. My eyes slowly lift open to see what the issue is that's disturbing my rest. My eyes land on the flight attendant. She's a beautiful brunette and her eyes are full of lust. I turn to look at who she's talking to and that's when my mouth drops open. Standing in the aisle across from me talking to the attendant is the hottest human being I've ever seen. Even hotter than Chase (and trust me, with his tan skin and blue eyes, Chase looked like a Ken Barbie.) The boy looks to be around 17, extremely tall with jett black, messy hair, electric green eyes, and the most perfect, pale skin I had ever seen. I usually prefer my boys tan, but for this newcomer, I could make an exception. His skim would make a dermatologist think they had died and gone to Heaven. He easily lifts his carry-on bags and puts them in the aisle storage compartment. Then looks at me and smiles. "I'm Riley, I guess we'll be sitting together for the next 6 hours." he jokes. I self consciously prod at my bun with my fingers, wishing I had kept my hair down. "Hi, I'm Bridgett" I announce. He slowly sits down in the seat next to me and takes out his headphones, indicating that our conversation is over. I take the hint and do the same, turning on my iPhone 6 and plugging in my Beats ear buds. This is going to be a long flight. I think to myself. I lean my head back and slowly drift to sleep.

When I wake up I'm confused. At first I don't remember getting on the plane but then all the horrible memories start flooding back. I lazily lift my eyes open, only to find the most incredibly green ones staring back at me. Oh yeah, almost forgot about the incredibly gorgeous boy I'm sitting next two. His cheeks turn bright pink when he notices I'm awake and he quickly looks away. I smirk to myself. Looks like I still have game. I check my phone and bolt upright. "Holy crap!" I scream, making Riley jump up and causing his headphones to fall off. "What, what what is it?!" He looks at me anxiously. "I've been asleep for 5 hours!" I say with disbelief. "Yeah, we're about to land. I was going to wake you up but you were just snoring so loudly." he grins. I can feel my face turn hot. And I look away. "Hey I'm just joking!" he laughs "you didn't miss anything while you were out, just the old couple behind us arguing over peanuts." I laugh, and in the process almost pee on myself. I realize that if I don't get to the bathroom then I'm going to embarrass myself greatly. "um, excuse me." I say awkwardly while trying to climb over him to get to the bathroom. "No problem." Riley says cheerfully. When I get back from peeling about 5 gallons, I have to repeat the process. Gosh his legs are long. Think while trying to climb over them. I didn't notice before but he's dressed like a true prepster. A light pink button up dress shirt, some knee length khaki shorts and tan Sperry's. "Ladies and gentlemen we will be landing in 5 minutes, please collect your belongings and prepare to exit." a voice over the intercom announces. I hate to admit it but I really don't want to get off this plane. I'm thinking it has something to do with a certain green-eyed boy. I gather up my stuff and slowly exit the plane with everyone else, watching Riley get farther and farther away as I go. "Welcome to Florida" a sign in the airport cheerfully announces. Ugh. This us going to be a long year.
