It's been a week since I have been in Birmingham and am starting to get used to it now buy I still miss my friends a lot. Earlier on today me and my mum decided to go shopping and have our mother daughter time I have to I enjoyed the trip because I got to spend a lot of time just talking to my mum about things and having a laugh it isn't so,etching that happens very often because she is always busy. My brother has been to his friends house a lot over the week and it kind of makes me jealous at the fact that he already has a friend meanwhile there's me who has nobody. I was currently in my room Skyping Kate before I heard a knock on the door and my mum walked in.

"Hey" my mum said half smiling at me

"Hello" I said not giving her eye contact since I was still on Skype with Kate

"Ohh is that Kate?" My mum asked waving into the camera before tuning to look at me "I need you to go and pick your brother up."

"Why can't you do it I am kinda busy" I said pointing towards my laptop

"I can't I have to go to an emergency meeting" she said look at her watch in order for me to answer faster.

"Fine, where is he?" I asked slightly angry at the fact that I can't speak to Kate

"He is at his friends house which is down the road, I am in a rush so I am going dinner is in the fried bye love you" she said giving me a quick hug before saying goodbye to Kate and leaving my room.

"Well it looks like you have my company for 20 more minutes" I said to Kate with a smile on my face

"ohh joy 20 minutes of fun" Kate joked.

After our 20 minute catch up session I decided its time to go and pick up Jake from his friends house, in all honesty I was worried to go and pick him up cause I am not ever good and meeting new people I never what to say to them and it always ends up in an awkward situation. I grabbed by phone from my bed side table and left the house.

I had to walk for about 10 minutes to get to the house that my mum mentioned as I approached the door my nerves began to kick in what do I do? What do I say? After a few minutes on thinking about what I should do I took a deep breath and pressed the doorbell, the door slowly opened and I could see a boy who looked roughly around my age if not a year older, he had brown hair with blonde highlights the way he styled it was pretty cool.

"Errm hi I am here to pick up my brother Jake" I said shyly

"Ohh hello you must be Charlotte" he said with a smile on his face

"Yes I am and you are?" I asked without trying to sound rude

"I am Connor, I am Lewie's older brother" he said

"Ohh it's nice to meet you" I said holding my hand out so he can shake it. I knew Lewie had an older brother but I never met him before which is weird considering my brother is best friends with Lewie.

"Do you know where Jake is?" I asked with a smile on my face to hide the embarrassment of asking a stupid question.

"Yeah they went to the park for a few minutes they should be back soon if you want you can wait here until they arrive." He said stepping aside to allow me in.

I walked into the house I was really scared and shy I didn't know what to say. I walked into the living room and I saw three other boys sitting on the sofa with a couple of guitars. The boy sitting on the far end of the sofa was rather tall, his hair was jelled up and styled well, the second boy was again pretty tail and had perfectly styled hair and in great position not one strand of hair was out of place. The third boy was shorter than the other two but a little bit taller than Connor he has brown curly hair and may I say I was was perfect the curls were perfect and the way he styled it was just brilliant, I could see him looking at me with his big brown eyes and instantly I began to blush I out my head down and stared to play with my fingers so that no one will notice.
