Chapter 2 (Unexpected Lunch Guest)

After hanging up on Maleek's selfish ass I was still standing there deciding on what I should wear. After thinking long and hard I decided to wear my sweetheart neckline BeBe black maxi dress with my MK sandles and purse. I had already showered and put my hair in a messy bun. I just needed to find an outfit for lunch.

As I am putting on my black laced thong and strapless bra my phone rings I look down and its a Imessage from B.A.N.S Maleek I shake my head and continue to get dress.

Now my phone is ringing again but this time it says Bestfriend Vonny❤❤ I answer it

"What's Up Bitch?" I say

"Nothing I need you to pick me up" she says

I am thinking this Bitch is lazy "Why Vonny can't you drive? I say to her

"Damn Mia you act like you driving to the hood and back I am down the street"

"So Vonny what does that mean?" Not giving her chance to answer "Bitch you better be ready or I am leaving yo yellow ass!!" I say

"Whatever Bitch" she hangs up and I laugh

The whole time I am on the phone with Vonny  Maleek is sending me messages he knows that I am not reading them cause he sees the message haven't said Read yet.

I refuse to be sucked back into his web of lies and broken promises I am moving on from him. I grab my bag and head out of my 3 bedroom townhouse condo to my 2014 black on black Range Rover.

Headed to grab Vonny so we can meet up with the others for our weekly lunch date. I pull up to Vonny's crib which is 3 houses down and hunk my horn she comes out yelling "Don't No hoes live here " I busted out laughing at her saying "Coulda fooled me" she gives me the straight face and hops in my truck.

"What up boo I see great minds think alike" I looked over and seen we were wearing the same thing but her dress was navy blue. I shook my head agreeing with her. I turn to her and say "Put some music on Vonny" she grabs my phone just as it starts to ring B.A.N.S Maleek with a picture of me and Maleek kissing on display I tell her to hit ignore.

She looks at me while shaking her head I turn and say "What?" While focusing on driving she says "You know what Amia" I say "Its not what you think Vonny"

"Then what is it Mia"she said so dryly I just sigh and said "He has been calling and sending me Imessages all morning long I only answered once that's it" she sighs and says "Please don't fall back into his trap Please I love you but when it comes to Leek you are weak and I am just being honest"

I just continue to drive without saying anything. Its just an awkward silence in the car. Her phone goes off while I am driving to the restaurant she says "Shit" I turn to see her reading a text on her phone "Whats wrong?" She says "nothing we can't handle" I just nod and say ok no trying not to pressure her about the message.

Pulling up in the parking lot of Benihanna's which I know Kourt picked this place cause she loves the rice. We start to get out I look at Vonny and ask her was everyone here she turns and says "Yeah and MeMe brought somebody with her"

Walking in I am thinking I knew Maleek was going to pull some shit like this. Not listening to what Vonny was saying as we were walking in Benihanna's. I turn to see Kourt sitting there texting on her phone wearing a white & gold crop top with a pair tru jeans and gold Mk sandles looking good. I smiled at her then I seen MeMe with a pink halter top maxi dress on with gold MK sandles too. I put my head down looking in my purse to grab my ringing phone seeing I missed a call as I am looking up from my purse my eyes land on Lauren.

Really Lauren the only thing I am thinking is what the fuck is she doing here? I turn to see a sympathetic Vonny & Kourt and a smiling MeMe & Lauren. " Hey girly What's Up" MeMe asked me "Nothing" I say so dryly and turn my head. She looks at me and says "Wow ok! Anyways I invited Lauren to lunch." I say nothing I just nod Vonny says "I think we see that MeMe. Why not tell us beforehand?" She says to MeMe

"I didn't think it would be made into a big deal" she says I just sit and say nothing again Kourt says " Well its whatever now we're here now let's eat" I sit and nod and still didn't say nothing. I can see how uncomfortable Lauren is sitting there talking to MeMe I just sigh as they call Kourt name so we can be seated.

As we are being seated my phone goes off again Big Bro AJ❤❤ is on the screen I smile Vonny says "Who is that " I just look at her and say "AJ" and I show her my phone "See" and I mumble "Damn"

"I was just making sure you wasn't being dumb " I look at her while I am answering my phone saying "Hello big bro"

"Its me" a voice that I know is not AJ's say I instantly knew who it was.

"What up?" I say playing it off

"Lauren is coming to lunch with Megan." He says I sigh and say

"Obviously I can see that!" I say with so much attitude

"It that all" I semi yell looking to see Kourt Vonny MeMe and Lauren looking at me. Hold on AJ knowing damn well it was Maleek and not AJ. I look at them and say excuse me they nod and continue to do what they were doing except for Vonny she see right through me I mentally laugh.

I walk outside and say " Hello" he says "Yeah why haven't you been answering my messages" I sigh deeply and say "Because" he says "Because of what Amia?" He says

I mentally say to my self this ni*ga is fooling or just plain dumb.

"Really Leek really you actually thought I would answer you let alone deal with you after the way you played me F*ck No" I screamed

"Amia" I cut him off "Maleek Malcolm James its seems like every chance you get to break my heart into pieces you jump for the chance"

"I am done with you I am done do you understand do not call me don't text me don't say nothing to me period if you see me on the road stranded leave me there I want NOTHING to do with you" I say in one breath

He says "You don't mean that!" I can hear the shock in his voice. As much shit that Maleek has done to me I have never said anything like this to him.

"Unfortunately for you I do mean it Maleek"

I pause I can hear him breathing heavily I can tell he is pissed "Goodbye" I say and I  hung  up!

Walking back in taking my seat Kourt asked me was everything ok I said "yeah everything is like it should be now I smiled.

I looked at Lauren and said "Sorry Lauren if I made you feel uncomfortable here at lunch" I can tell I surprised her with my apology shit I surprised myself too.

But I know not liking her because she is Maleek's girlfriend is not healthy for me and I am moving on and letting go of Maleek James. I smiled and begin to think about what the future has for me!
