"BUBBLEGUM BITCH..."

Once we got home I spotted Gavin sitting in the parlor. He looked down at my outfit before his eyebrows furrowed. "What are you doing here?" I asked. "I came to talk to you about the pairing. I thought Prudence was going to choose Ambrose. I guess she changed her mind." He said.

I walked up to him and placed my hands on his shoulders. "It's fine." I said before hugging him tightly. He wrapped his arms around my waist. He hummed. "I like the lingerie." He commented. I smirked before letting him go just a bit to kiss him softly.

"This was for you." I whispered. I see his eyes scan my body. He used one hand to take off the leather jacket I had on. My eyes never left his as the jacket fell onto the floor with a soft thud. The fire from the fireplace flickers rapidly. "Do you want to put it to good use?" He asked me which made butterflies erupt.

"As much as that sounds amazing... I don't think that I'm ready for something like that." I said softly. He grinned before nodding his head. "That's okay, but I still want to kiss you some more." He said before kissing me softly. I hummed.

"I was thinking... there is a Valentines Party at Baxter High and I was wondering if you would like to be my date." I said. He chuckled before pecking my lips. "Of course I'd like to be your date." He said. A bright smile worked its way on my lips.

It was the night of the Valentines Day party and I got dressed in a long velvet red dress and I curled my hair and added a bit of makeup on my face. After that I practically ran to Ambrose's room. I barged in to see him lying on his bed with a magazine. Once he noticed I was there he looked at my dress. "Are you going to that mortal party at Baxter High?" He asked.

I nodded. "Yes, and I think that you should come with." I said with a convincing smile. Ambrose rolled his eyes. "You know I can't associate with mortals, Mary Rose." He says. I groaned.

"But, I'll be there, Gavin will be there, too." I said. He chuckled. "I will not be a third wheel, no thank you." He said. I grabbed his hands and pulled him off of the bed.

"You won't be, I promise." I said. "Now, come on. Gavin is gonna be here at any second and you're not even dressed." I pulled him out of his room.

Ambrose quickly got dressed into a suit and the three of us went to Baxter High's gym which was where the dance was located. We walked into the room to see that the room was pretty pink and red. Students were dancing along to the upbeat music. Decorations were all over the place. I smiled before looking back at them.

"Well, come on!" I shouted before running onto the dance floor and starting to shimmy to the beat. I see Ambrose and Gavin walking up to me. "I'm going to get some drinks." Gavin said before walking off.

I grinned before grabbing Ambrose's hands. "We are dancing." I said. He shook his head before suddenly twirling me and dipping me. I chuckled before he pulled me up sharply. He twirled me again and spun me outwards before pulling me in. We laughed.

"I have a question. What's your favorite color?" I asked. His eyebrows furrowed. "Um... orange or green. Why?" He asked. I hummed.

"No reason." I said.

After the song passed a slow song started to play so I danced with Gavin. We swayed to the song as I rested my head on his chest. My heart fluttered. I looked up at him with a grin. He rested his head on mine and I breathed out slowly.

The next day it was time for the Hunt. It was pretty late and so all girls were getting dressed into slip-ons' and lingerie. I put on a green slip with some simple lace underwear underneath. I also wore a red cape as well as everyone else. I walked into the room of girls to spot the weird sisters and Sabrina getting dressed.
