- definitely has been planning this day for the past week. no doubt asking Han and Leia countless questions, especially "is this too much?" to which they only shrug.
- is the first one to wake up, choosing to forgo his usual early morning meditation to instead make you a special breakfast (pink food dye will undoubtedly be all over EVERYTHING)
- you wake up alone, used to Luke being gone each morning, but slightly sad that he hadn't stayed in bed with you on this particular holiday.
- Luke can sense when you wake up Jedi senses and all that jazz and desperately tries to hide the big mess he's created in the kitchen.
- "Happy Valentine's Day, dear." the smell of something burning makes you ask, "Luke? Are you cooking?"
- He sighs, "Yes, but it seems as that with all my Jedi senses, I still can't figure out when the waffles are burnt." He looks at the ground in defeat
- you end up helping him clean up and enjoy the half burnt (you just call them crispy to help Luke's ego a little bit), bright pink waffles and eggs he made
- then, he takes you for a ride in his x-wing, showing you the world from way up in the clouds
- you get to enjoy the view from luke's lap, because there's only one seat 😉
- you two spend the rest of the day walking around a nearby town, enjoying the escape from the war and the serious atmosphere on-base
- you talk all about how you grew up and about how you always dreamed of flying away from your hometown to do something big
-luke can't help but just melt as you passionately talk about your dreams
- finally, the two of you make it to your destination, a small restaurant just outside of the town, cozy and lit up with string lights, giving it a romantic feel
- to make it even better, han and leia seemed to have the same idea, noticing the two of them from across the room
- double date!!
- you all stay there for hours just having a good time until it's time to head back to base
- you and luke cuddle in your shared bed, him pressing kisses all over your forehead and cheek, with the occasional peck on the lips, showering you with attention
- finally, the two of you settle down, him stroking your hair, whispering sweet nothings as you drift off
