My eyes snapped open to a pain in my stomach. I ran into the bathroom thinking I was about to vomit.
Nope.
I sat on the toilet thinking I had to pee. When I looked down, there was blood. My eyes filled with tears. I never got my period when I was pregnant last time. I ran out of the bathroom and to Louis' side of the bed.
"Lou." I said while nudging him. "Louis." I said, voice cracking, and nudging him harder. He opened his eyes and noticed my teary ones.
"Baby, what's wrong?" He asked frantically.
"I don't know. I'm bleeding. It looks like my period but you don't get one while your pregnant and my stomach hurts and I'm scared it's the baby." I said tears streaming down my face.
"It's okay, shh." He soothed. "Let's put on some clothes and I'll call someone to watch the kids when they come over and I'll drive you to the emergency room yeah?" I nodded. I put on a bra and a pair of pants and a sweat shirt over my shirt and meet Louis in our room. "I called Liam, he will be over soon okay let's go." He said and lead me downstairs quietly so we didn't wake the kids. I looked at the time, 2:04.
We get in the car and Louis drives. What if something happened to the baby? So many "what if's" ran through my mind as I rubbed my barely baby bump. I don't want anything to happen to it. Maybe I'm just blowing things out of proportion. Maybe nothing's wrong.
"Come here baby." Louis broke me out of my thoughts. We ran into the empty hospital lobby.
"Sir what's wrong?" A nurse asked Louis.
"My wife said that she is having stomach pains and that there is bleeding. And it's not her period." He added. She nodded and they put me in a wheel chain as another wang of pain flowed through my stomach. They brought me to a room and changed me into a patient outfit. They hooked me up to monitors and everything. Then a doctor walked in.
"Hello Mrs. Tomlinson, it says that your having abdominal pain and bleeding not involving your minstrel cycle correct?" I nod. "What time did this all start?" He asked.
"I woke up around two o'clock and though it was some sickness but then it wasn't." I said and a tear fell down my face. Louis put his hand in mine rubbing comforting circles on my knuckles.
"Is there a chance your pregnant?" He asked.
"I'm two months." I answered. He let out a breath and wrote in his note pad.
"I will be right with you." He said and walked out.
"I don't want anything bad to happen Lou." I said tears coming nonstop.
"Hey baby, it's alright." He said and kissed my head. "No matter what happens I'm here alright. And you have the boys, the girls, Will, Emily, family, me. I love you." He said and kissed me again. The door opened back up with the doctor coming back.
"Mrs. Tomlinson," he started and that's when tears and sobs took over. I was shaking from what he said.
