Powers and abilities: Asgore has the ability to control and summon fire at will. With this magic, Asgore can call waves of fire, expanding rings of fireballs, rains of fireballs, and spiraling pillars of flames. Asgore's signature weapon is a massive red trident. By swinging the trident, Asgore can leave behind trails of blue or orange magic. Blue trails only hit stationary opponents, while orange trails hit moving opponents (wikipedia).
Battle: Asgore will start shooting fireballs at Todoroki. Not surprisingly, Todoroki will defend himself with ice. Some of the fireballs can hit Todoroki but he can surf or skate with ice to dodge them as well. Asgore's trident wouldn't do much to Todoroki since he can defend himself with ice or fire. Even if Todoroki didn't defend himself against the magic trident trails, Todoroki can learn the blue and orange attacks. When Todoroki uses fire it can be more devastating for Asgore. Asgore could tank it or dodge Todoroki's attacks but he wouldn't stand a chance against Todoroki's ice from the start even with his fireballs.
