Powers and abilities: As the elemental master of earth, Cole has the power to manipulate and generate rocks, dust, and earth. He can also control massive amounts of the earth (for example a mountain). The user can change and manipulate any type of terrain (for example a mountain or a valley). He can also create, shape, and manipulate sand and dirt, commonly to trap enemies (As displayed by the Earth Elemental Blade). He can immobilize enemies by covering them in a layer of earth, (as shown by a Stone Warrior petrified by Lloyd) and can make rocks burst out of the ground. He can also (only if he is a very powerful wielder) has the ability to move tectonic plates, and generate fractures and chasm (As displayed by Garmadon's Mega Weapon). It can be used to cause earthquakes and fissures. Also, the user can create shaking tremors along surfaces (walls, ceilings, etc.) to create dust and dust particles to discover a hidden enemy. This ability can also be used to rupture the ground and can create giant shockwaves. Cole also had superhuman strength and superhuman durability. He can sometimes generate or manipulate magma or lava and can create an earth elemental shield. Cole also wields a power called the earth punch. The earth punch is when a user can transform their arms into magma/molten rock and punch through anything, excluding Vengestone and corrupted ice. This ability does not have a specific meaning as True potential does, but rather it is simply a higher level of the Earth power. Cole is the first Master of Earth to have this ability and it is exclusive to the Earth element. Like the other ninja, Cole wielded several weapons at times first being the a normal scythe, then the scythe of quakes, and now he currently wields a hammer. He was formally a ghost and had the abilities to phase through walls and possess objects, but a ghosts weakness is water. Finally, just like the other ninja, Cole has the ability to perform spinjitzu and airjitzu where he can spin around bringing damage to his enemies and can fly in the air for a short amount of time (wikipedia).

Battle: Todoroki would always start with ice since he currently controls it better. Cole would protect himself either by creating tall rocks hills from the ground or by using spinjitzu to move out of the way. Cole would manipulate rocks and throw them at Shoto. Shoto wouldn't be hit by the rocks since he can protect himself with ice. However Cole would be able to cause an earthquake to shake the ground giving him a chance for Todoroki to go unbalanced and can create giant shockwaves against him too. They both have the ability to trap each other. Shoto would trap Cole with ice and Cole would trap Shoto by a layer of earth or sand or dust (might need the Earth Elemental Blade for the sand and dirt trapping). Cole could escape Todoroki's attacks by airjitzu if he had some platforms low enough for him to reach but without any platforms using airjitzu wouldn't do much since it only works for a certain amount of time and doesn't go too high either. Cole can use his earth punch to break Todoroki's ice maybe even if he's trapped in it. However the Earth punch wouldn't do anything against Shoto's fire but Cole can protect himself by generating giant rock hills to block Shoto's fire. Todoroki's powers are mighty strong against Cole's Earth powers but Cole has more martial arts combat skills than Todoroki does and can possibly dodge his attacks. If Cole was a ghost at this time Todoroki wouldn't stand a chance, but even if Cole isn't a ghost he would be a big challenge against icyhot. I forgot about the hammer didn't I? Oh yeah that hammer wouldn't do much except for seeking behind Shoto and knocking him out. Shoto could win if he had the opportunity to immobilize Cole with his ice at the right time but Cole would win if he kept on using his rocks and earth punch since he has less of a limit than Todoroki does. Cole's only limit to his powers is when something interferes with it, like Vengestone for example.
