"I'll see you back in the great hall, Pierce" he whispered into her hear with a smirk and before she knew it, she was alone in the classroom, feeling cold and unsatisfied.

Sage let out a childish groan as she threw her head back onto the now closed door and fanned her face, cooling herself down before her friends could find out that she was all hot and bothered from a certain teasing red head. She let out a long breath before making her way back to the main hall.

"No, Severus. The decision is final" Professor McGonagall's hushed voice caused Sage to halt her steps and like the true Slytherin she was, she stopped flat against the wall to listen in to the conversation. "They deserve to know, they must prepare" Snape's voice drawled from around the stone corner.

"There is nothing to prepare, it is only going to make the time leading up to it more stressful" McGonagall argued, causing Sage's eyebrows to furrow and rack her brain; she wasn't a Ravenclaw after all. "Fine, but if they cause a scene when they find out, that will be on you" Snape huffed.

Sage didn't have time to process that Snape would now be coming her way as he was now standing two feet away from her, looming over her like the whomping willow. "Oh, h-hi Sir, I was just going back into the great hall" Sage drew a smile on her face as she tried to hurry past him.

"I don't think so" he snapped as he grabbed her wrist in a vice like grip. "How long were you standing there?" He snarled, his greasy hair falling on either side of his face like a hood. "Really, I was just walking back" Sage winced as she tried to retract her wrist from his grip, only causing him to tighten it.

"Don't lie to me" He spat. "Sir you're hurting me, let me go" Sage's voice staggered as she tried to pull her wrist away, failing once again. "Severus! Let her go" McGonagall was now standing beside Sage, causing Snape to let her go with a huff.

"You go back to breakfast dear" McGonagall smiled at Sage who nodded hurriedly before scuttling back to the great hall. She lifted up the sleeve of her sweater as she stood outside the doors to the great hall, noticing that her wrist was red and sore, it would probably leave a mark for a few days.

"Sage?" She quickly yanked down her sleeve as she saw Draco walking towards her. "I just came to check on you. You've been gone for a while" he said as he eyed her warily. "Huh? Oh, yeah I'm fine I just ran into someone" she smiled as she began walking over to Pansy and Blaise, silently telling Draco to follow.

"You sure you're ok?" He asked once they were sat down. "Why, what's up?" Pansy asked. "Nothing, he's just worrying for no reason, as usual" Sage forced a laugh as Pansy nodded her head in agreement. "Anyway I was wondering if you guys wanted to go to Hogsmeade today?" Blaise asked as he stopped stuffing waffles down his throat.

"Yeah, I'm down for that" Sage smiled as she grabbed a waffle from Blaise's plate. "The stack is literally right in front of you" He groaned with his mouth full, causing Pansy to grimace. "I would but I told Flint I would... help him practice for... Quidditch" Pansy shrugged as she picked at her nails.

"You? Helping with Quidditch?" Draco cackled. "Of course, she does want to ride his broom after all" Sage winked, causing Pansy to hit her in the arm but she couldn't hide her smile. "Ok fine, what about you?" Blaise asked as he looked to Draco.

"Mate you know I've got that thing" Draco mumbled, but not quietly enough for Sage's super hearing. "What thing? With mystery girl?" Sage smirked as she threw a grape at Draco. "None of your business" he rolled his eyes as he picked up the grape and popped it into his mouth. "Right" Sage scoffed.

"You still want to go to Hogsmeade?" Blaise asked as he added some more waffles to his plate. "Yeah sure, you might want to calm down on the waffles though, you might puke" Sage laughed as she watched him shove some in his mouth.
