"And then she told me she's always had a thing for me" Draco scoffed as he, Sage and Blaise sat by the black lake. "You should go for it, I mean have you seen her ass?" Blaise chuckled. "I'd rather not sit here while you disrespect girls so If you respond to that very annoying comment, D, I'm leaving" Sage rolled her eyes.
"I wasn't going to" Draco laughed, winking at Blaise while Sage looked the other way. "Anyway how was Hogsmeade?" Draco asked as he picked at blades of grass. "It was good" Sage said, shooting Blaise a look that said 'keep your mouth shut'.
"It was interesting" Blaise smirked, causing Sage to sit up from her laying down position. "Not really, quite the opposite" she said as she gave him a pointed look. "Why'd you say that Blaise" Malfoy asked, smiling at Sage's discomfort and very obvious secret.
"We ran in to someone at Honeydukes didn't we Sage?" Blaise said as he shielded his eyes from the sun that was caressing their skin. "Yeah, we ran into Lavender" Sage said through gritted teeth, pleading with Blaise through her eyes. "Oh I don't recall that" Blaise cocked his head to the side, irking Sage further.
"However I do recall running into Cormac" he said, looking over to Draco. "Cormac?" he scoffed. "That guy's a wanker" he spat, looking over at Sage to gauge her reaction at her cheating... ex? "It's okay, we had a lovely conversation and everything is forgiven" Sage said the last words slowly as she looked pointedly at Blaise.
"Forgiven for what? Cheating or bruising your wrist" Blaise spat. "What?" Draco furrowed his eyebrows as his gaze landed on Blaise, waiting for him to elaborate. "Show him" Blaise demanded as he locked eyes with Sage. "You're a dick" she spat as she scrambled to get up.
"Sit back down Sage" Draco said as he grabbed her ankle, stopping her from walking off. "No" she said as she tried to pull herself away; what was it with these males not letting her go when she tried to pull away? "I said sit. Back. Down" the look in his eyes hypnotised Sage as she found her legs crossing under her as she sat back down.
"Show me your wrist" he said, looking at the area that was covered by her sleeve. "It's literally nothing Draco, I can't even feel it" Sage huffed. "So he's left your wrist numb?" Draco growled. "What? No! No, that's not what I meant, I just mean it doesn't hurt" Sage scoffed.
"Just show me your fucking wrist Pierce" the use of her surname coming from Draco caused Sage to take in a deep breath, the fresh air filling her lungs as she stuck her wrist out and pulled up the sleeve. "Woah what happened there?" Sage heard the sound of leaves crunching from behind her before someone towered over her.
"Fred?" Sage squinted her eyes as she looked up at him, the blinding sun painting a beautiful shadow on his face. "What happened Pierce?" he asked as he knelt down beside her. "Nothing, it's just a small fucking bruise!" Sage said, annoyed at the smothering from all of the boys who were looking at her like she just told them she was pregnant.
"A small bruise?" Fred laughed dryly, "It's around your whole wrist" he spat. "Who?" he asked her as he averted his gaze from her wrist and looked up at her face. "No one" she said as she raised her eyebrows at him, signalling that she wasn't going to budge.
"Who?" Fred asked again but this time he looked over at Blaise. "Cormac" Blaise told him, causing a scoff and a scowl to erupt from Fred and Draco. "Fucking prick" Fred mumbled as he pulled Sage's sleeve back down before gently placing her wrist back in her lap.
"So you or me?" Draco asked Fred, causing Sage to furrow her eyebrows. "What are you on about?" Sage asked as she scanned their faces. "Me" Fred said as he ignored her, a look of anger etched into his face; a look that Sage had never seen on him before.
