"Of course" you said to the cat-like boy. He raised his head a little, only to show a happy expression.
"Thank you.." he spoke.
You could tell he felt relieved after what you just said. Looking to your side, there stood Inuoka.
"EYY Y/N, WHAT ARE YOU BOTH TALKING ABOUT ?" He said.
"Ah, no no it's nothing much inu, we we're just having a small conversation, that's all" you giggled before playing with your fingers.
He nodded before continuing to laugh with Yuki.
You felt a small tap on the shoulders. Looking behind you, you gave a smile.
"Do you.. like.. cats ?" He asked.
You felt a slight happiness to the fact he's getting a little better with you, and not like before where he ended up running away.
You nodded.
"Cats are really cute, but i didn't really get a chance to grow contact with them.. so, i may not be very comfortable yet" You started fidgeting your fingers.
"Oh" he raised both his eyebrows. Nodding to your opinion, he placed a finger on his chin.
"Wanna ...go to a cat cafe later ?" He asked, looking at you.
You smiled in response before slightly nodding.
"Sure, I'd love to"

Taking a sip of your milk box, there you sat beside your best friend.
"HAHA, I BET YOUR BACKS TIRED FROM LEANING DOWN TO TALK TO SHORTIES."
"HAHA YOUR LEGS GOT TIRED OF GROWING"

Both you and inuoka have been laughing at eachother for about 20 minutes now.
You slammed your pencil on your table before taking a deep breath,
"IM GONNA STOP BREATHING IF U WON'T STOP CALLING ME SHORT, MY LEGS ARE NEVER PERFECTLY FINE" you showed an "angry" expression before holding your breath.
"OMG YOU'RE SERIOUS- OK OK YOU'RE TALL AKRKSKEDK" Inu ended up being worried that he started praying for his soul if ever you got out of air.
"Idiot, i was barely even holding my breath A H A H " You felt powerful that you started showing a flashy smile, but to inuoka, he thought you looked silly.
"hey inuoka. kuroo said to come practice in the gym.."
Facing to the sides, you could see a pudding looking guy standing beside the door, with his eyes locked on his phone as usual.
"ah, sure thing kenma" He said before standing up. He told you that they needed to practice so you just nodded, proceeding to wave at him.

After class, you walked towards your locker, placing all your books inside.
"I should probably wait for Fukunaga right now..he did tell me about going to a cat cafe later...." Exiting the school campus, you took out your phone to check what time it was.
"4:58 p.m."
It seems pretty early, but I'm sure they'll end soon. As you waited for him outside, you plugged onto your earphones.

"Write everything down about us on a love letter, And throw it into the empty sky"

The song played perfectly inside your head as you continued observing the sky.
Only to be stopped as you heard a slight noise coming from a boys shoe.
"Sorry, kuroo had to let us do push ups due to eating pizza's without him knowing.."
He took a breath before slightly panting.
Standing straight, he looked at you
"Let's go ?" He spoke, showing you a small yet admiring smile.
You nodded. And so you both began walking your way to the cat cafe.
