"Cat Cafe"

(Author's POV)

After class, you and Fukunaga walked outside as you both decided on visiting a cat cafe. Since you never got to visit one, this would be considered your first time, as you hope for it to turn out well.

You started feeling shy since the atmosphere between you and him had been quite awkward for a few minutes. It took a while till fukunaga looked at you. Although, you didn't seem to noticed.

"hmm.." he hummed.

"You feelin' okay ?" Putting one finger on his chin, he asked you out of no where, due to him seeing your certain attitude.

"Ah, yeah I'm ok ! Don't worry" you said, feeling guilty that you must've made him worried.

"Alrighty then" he smiled. Proceeding to continue looking around.

Although the walk didn't take long, it was quite nice being able to walk with someone.

Patting your shoulders gently, he seemed to have found your destination.

"Cat cafe" he blurted out.

"Oh we're here" you said, walking towards the entrance, along with him.

As you both entered the cat cafe, fukunaga guided you on what to do inside, in case you needed help.

You took your shoes off as you then proceeded on wearing slippers, which was required before stepping inside. Fukunaga did the same thing.

A lady greeted both of you as she then leaded you both inside.

Opening the door, your eyes were in sparkles as you saw cats... e v e r y w h e r e .

"Ah, they're so many of them" you said in awe.

Fukunaga nodded as he squats on the floor, signaling you to sit beside him. Squatting on the floor, it was quite comfy due to the floors soft texture.

"Meow" a cat walked infront of you.

You panicked to the fact, you didn't know how to interact with it.
Looking at the guy beside you, fukunaga chuckled as he held your hand and brought it closer to the cats head, making you able to pat it gently. Making you blush from the certain contact.

The cat purred as it begins walking around you.
You smiled to its reaction.

"I guess the cats okay with you" he spoke.
You gave him a slight nod before continuing to admire the cat.

He then stood up.

"Hm ?" You looked at him.

"I'll go get something"

"Oh ok" you nodded again before facing back to the cat, it seemed to be a little cozy, that it starts yawning, making you let it a small giggle.

"You're so adorable" you smiled.

(Fukunaga's POV)
Standing up, i decided to get some cat treats for y/n and me to feed them.

"Hm ?" She hummed.

"I'll go get something" i said. I didn't want to interrupt her time with the cat, so i left quickly.

Walking to one of the workers, i asked them for some cat treats as they gave me a couple of it. I proceeded to thank them before beginning to walk back.

I heard a slight giggle, not too far, but it was perfect in my ears. Not so far away, i could see y/n enjoying her time with the cat.

"You're so adorable"
