2 days passed since that incident and I told Melon not to do bullshit like that anymore. Obviously he would. I played for our food that day and we went to a park... why...

It was really dark that day. The clouds hung low in the sky, ready to pour out its contents anytime. Melon and I talked for a bit until the rain slowly started sprinkling.

Melon and I both wanted to stay outside, so we did. The said was starting to soak us, even if we stayed under a tree. It was a beautiful scenery. A grey cloudy sky, a slight breeze. It was beautiful.

I looked at Melon who was staring up at the sky with closed eyes.

"Melon. I wanna eat you right now." I said as my head started throbbing in pain. I grabbed onto it and a voice familiar voice started speaking.

It was all in my head.

"Don't you wanna know why?" The voice in my head sang loudly.

I grabbed onto my head, completely ignoring Melon's presence.

"It's all about Melon now. I told you before didn't I? Mmm, I don't remember." It sang again and again.

"Shut up.." I said in my head. As I started curling up into a ball.

A sudden kiss was planted on my lips. My eyes widened and I saw Melon's cold eyes stare right into my own.

I could feel myself unintentionally deepen the kiss. I didn't want to! It was someone else... I think...

Melon pulled away and said, "Sorry, I forgot that you told me not to anymore. I just thought you needed that."

I slapped him across the cheek and got up. "Stop playing with my heart." I said angrily as I ran into the rain, abandoning our shelter under the tree.

I walked through the cold rain, as each droplet sent shivers down my spine.

Stupid Melon...

Did he not know? Weren't hybrid supposed to be intelligent? What's his problem? Couldn't he have returned the flavour and kissed me back? Why'd he pull away.

I stormed through the rain as I kept viguroisly rubbing my arms, trying to keep myself warm. Not working. I felt my clothes completely soak up all the water and my exposed fur do the same.

Soon, I started sneezing over and over again as I walked home. It was embarrassing. Walking down the almost empty streets all soaked and wet to the bone.

So that's why I was here, 2 days later, still in bed sneezing and blowing my nose. I couldn't breathe properly through my nose, which meant that I couldn't smell either.

Living without a functioning nose was hard... all I did was with the help of my nose.

A sneeze escaped my lips as I pulled out a tissue from the tissue box, blowing in on it, to only get an empty tissue. I wasn't complaining though.

My head started throbbing again as the same voice started echoing in my head, louder than before.

"Riz is now dead." It echoed. I gritted my teeth and clenched into the bed sheets as I failed to stop it and the echoes continued ringing in my head.

I wanted to die right now. It was too much to handle. My head felt like it was about to explode. I took a deep breath in, then out, trying to relieve the, now, burning sensation in my head.

I closed my eyes and rolled side to side in bed as I tried shutting up the voice in my head, and somehow managed to pass out.

I'm alive... thanks for keep on reading my books. What else do I say? Let's make this book rank up on the 'Melon' tag! Wooooo! Lez goooo! Right now am currently on 8th place, also I have another Melon x reader on my profile, so check that out as well (if you want), and that's it. Thanks guys.

Also, after this and the other Melon x reader, imma start a new one, lmaoooo! Usually whenever I start a book, I don't have a plan. I just write some bullshit, but that one, I have a plan. Maybe I should start now? I'm not sure haha, but it'd be fun. I'm all about the views.

Oooh! Can we get this book to 10k reads? Thanks.
