Headaches {{Melon × Reader}}

Again...

I finally got to take a shower after a long day of school. I got out of the shower in short pants and a lose white t-shirt. I had a towel wrapped around my neck.

I headed to my desk and checked my phone to see 7 missed calls from Aoba and 3 from Legoshi. Then when I checked Bill's phone there were a bunch of spam messages from Legoshi. Then his phone started ringing.

I decided to ignore the call and picked up my phone instead to call Legoshi. The phone didn't even have the chance to ring when the other side picked up.

"GIVE ME MY DAMN PHONE BACK!!!" Bill's voice said from the other side.

"Oh hey, Legoshi. I didn't know you had my number, since I got a new phone and all. How are you doing?" I casually asked ignoring Bill. "Sorry I didn't pick up earlier, I was taking a shower. You called so many times, did something happen?" I added.

"STOP IGNORING ME! YOU OLD HAG!" That got me.

"WHO ARE YOU CALLING A OLD HAG?! DAMN IT. LOOK AT YOURSELF, YOU'RE BIGGER THAN ME!!!" I shot back.

"What going on? Who's shouting in the bathroom stall?" I heard a voice from his phone.

Than another brilliant idea crossed my mind. I started making moans and pleading Bill to stop teasing.

"Eww. Bill, stop harassing girls through videocalls." "At least go get a room, man. Not cool." When the doors clicked shut I started laughing.

Bill was so mad, I didn't even have to see his face. "Just give me back my damn phone." He whisper shouted.

"Yeah, yeah. I'll give it to you.... I don't know." I teased. He let out a groan and said, "I'll come by after drama club. If you don't come out than you're dead meat."

I just started singing and said, "I think you should be worried about me texting some sweeties." I made a small wink to myself and hung up before he could answer.

Suddenly my head started hurting. I hadn't had headaches in ages. This time I was prepared. I had bought some headache pills. I got them out of one my drawers.

"Ain't no bitch hurting my head today!" I said flipping the headache off.

"SHEILA! MY HEAD HURTS! BAHHHHHH!" I wined. Sheila had gotten back from her drama club, class, whatever you call it about half an hour ago.

"I thought you said that you took painkillers." Sheila said as she tried concentrating on her work as I lazily hung backwards down my bed.

"They didn't work at all... What should I do?" I complained. She shook her head and got up, slowly walking over to me. She sat down next to me and placed a hand on top of my forehead.

"It doesn't look like you have a fever." She said retracting her hand. I let out a sigh and said, "I'll go get some ice..." in defeat as I slowly got out of bed and put on a jacket on top.

I grabbed Bill's phone and put on my sneakers before heading out of the room. I headed down the halls, rubbing circles around my forehead trying to ease the pain.

I headed towards the nurses office in the school building and got myself a pack of ice. Then I headed towards the guys dorm room and called Aoba throughBill's phone.

Aoba picked up and I said, "I'm here..." in a worn out tone. A couple minutes later Bill came launching himself towards me grabbing onto his phone. I fell on the ground and started scolding Bill after getting up.

"Dude! I just took a shower..." I wined, "and I have a headache!" I added. He nodded and just said, "Serves you right." I just let out a sigh in defeat and started heading back to my dorm room, waving at him before leaving. And of course we can't forget about the punch.

When I got near the dorm building I saw Melon walk out of it. I decided to ignore him and his voice called out to me when he we were only a couple yards away from each other.

"I was looking for you." He bluntly stated. I nodded, the ice pack firmly planted on my forhead. I moved it between my ears (p.s. you're not a human in this story...) and waited for him to say something.

"Headaches?" He asked. I nodded and looked down at my feet. He still had his mask on and his eyes were closed.

I scratched the back of my head in frustration and pointed at him saying, "I don't like the mask! Why~~~~~~~~~" I wined. I wasn't feeling myself today.

"It makes me feel guilty for trying to eat you..." I continued. He didn't bother taking his mask off and instead lifted his hands up in defense and said, "You know I can't do that right. We're on school grounds." I nodded and asked him why he was looking for me.

"That is, I wanted to inform you that I'm leaving tomorrow." He announced. I looked at him indifferent when I realized his words. "Wait really?! So soon?!" I accidently blurted out loud. I quickly covered my mouth with my hand and looked the other way.

"I thought you wanted me to leave." He stated. I removed my hand from my mouth and said, "Dinner?" He nodded and said, "I'll be waiting at the same udon place as last time, at 6 pm." I nodded and we went out separate ways.

I got back into my room and tossed the ice pack into the mini freezer and headed straight for the shower again. "Wait! Didn't you already use the hot water today?" Sheila playfully sneered.

"Bahhhhh! Sheila! You can use my hot water next time. I need this..." I wined again as I walked into the shower stall.

I took a quick shower and realized that I didn't take my clothes or a towel. I peeked my head through the shower door and called out, "Sheilaaaa~ can you get me a towel?"

I heard a long sigh for, outside before a towel was thrown at my face and I thanked Sheila with a smile before wrapping the towel around my torso.

I walked out of the shower stall and walked over to my closet, picking out a plain white shirt and a denim jacket to wear on top, with some skin tight blue jeans. I took some undergarments and started putting them on.

I checked the clock on the wall which informed that it was 5:06 pm. I sighed as I took my purse and stuffed in my wallet, phone and earphone.

I grabbed my ice pack and informed Sheila that I was going out for a while. She nodded and I headed out.

I checked my phone to see that it was 5:14 pm. I sighed as I left the school gates and headed down the streets. The streets were roaming with cars and people heading for dinner or taking a break.

Melon...
