"I would actually love to."
My parents own my flat so technically I could move out tomorrow.
"I can bring him today to Wired."
"Yes, I'm excited."
With that Tobi left and I decided to inform my parents.
I walk out of my block and take a right. Since I have the key to my parent's flat I can walk in whenever I want.

"Mum? Dad?"
Both of them walk to the entrance and greet me.
"I want to talk to you about something."
We all make our way to the couch.
"So, Cal is back in England." I say, my Mum sighs, she was never really fond of him I have no idea why. My Dad on the contrary got along with him too well.
"And he's looking for a flat mate."
"Are you sure you want to move in with him again?" My Mum asked.
I nodded. We had so much fun when we lived together.
"I just feel like he's not good for you." I crossed my arms.
"Liz, c'mon Cal is a lovely fella." My Dad said.
"Well I just wanted to let you know that you can get back my flat." My Dad nodded.
"Sure, give us the key whenever Elle."
This should show why I get along better with my Dad than with Mum. I decided to go home again.

"I do not believe it." I probably have the biggest smile on my face right now.
"Eleanor Wright." he said and opened his arms. I ran up to him and hugged him.
He is so tall and attractive now, what a glow up.
"Freezy, it's been so long." I smiled.
"You look good," he said "but you did not grow at all." Tobi, Cal and I all laughed.
Everyone at Wired was looking at us.
"Looks like you did that for me." Cal nodded. His fashion sense madly improved as well.
Tobi and Cal sat down.
"So, I heard you are looking for a flat mate." I smiled.
"Words spread quickly." he laughed.
"Look no further." I smirked at him.
I serve Tobi an apple juice.
"Oh my god, just like old times." he basically screamed excited.
I nodded. "Would you like something?"
"Just a red bull."
I grab one from the fridge and pour it into a glass.
"On the house." "You are too kind." Cal responded.
From the corner of my eye, I see Simon walk in.
He sits down a few seats next to Cal.

"Minter?"
"Oi, what's going on."
Wait Simon and Cal know each other?
"Nothing really, just moved back to England." Simon nodded.
"Tobi and Elle, hello to you too." We both replied with a "Hi."
"C'mon, sit with us." Cal invited him.
"How do you two know each other?" Tobi asked.
"He used to be my co-worker before I left."
"Good times." Simon said reminiscing.
"Well, now I'm looking for work again." Cal sighed.
"Good luck with that mate." Simon said.
"You could work here you know." I said to him.
"I mean temporarily until you find something."
"Really?"
"Of course, we'll have to talk to my dad first though."
"Elle, I have missed your dad so much!"
"Weirdly he did too." We both laughed.
"I have to leave now, Cal you coming with?" Tobi asked. Cal nodded.
I said goodbye to both of them. Simon waved at them.
I'm impressed, Cal is so fit.

"Tequila?" I ask Simon.
He shook his head. "Water please."
"Recovering alcoholic?"
Simon did not seem to enjoy my comment.
"I was just joking Jesus Christ."
"I didn't like the joke." he said annoyed.
Sensitive much?
Simon is still a mystery to me.
Weirdly a group of underage teenagers walked into my bar. "Hey ladies, sorry only 18 and plus." I say as soon as I see them walk in, they were all holding a pen and paper in their hands.
"Is it true?! Does the Simon Minter come to this bar?!" I look at the girl confused. I didn't know what to answer. They look around the bar and then sighed. "Unlucky." They said to each other and left.
I walked back behind the bar and realise Simon was not sitting there anymore, a few minutes later I see him come out of the bathroom. I decided not to talk to him about this although it did seem weird.
He stayed until closing hours but he was not drunk, I'd argue not even tipsy.
He danced with a few different girls but did not seem to have fun.
"Can I walk you home?" he asked me.
"Are you alright?" I was confused and uncomfortable.
"Yes." he said.
"I'm not sure."
"Why, do you not trust me?" he came very close to me. He smelt like aftershave.
"I actually do not." I distanced myself from him.
"Please Elle." I sighed.

I gave in, mainly because I was too tired to argue and also because I felt bad about the joke I made earlier. The second we walked out the bar I regretted it. We walked next to each other and Simon had his head down.
Since he was not going to talk I decided to: "Any reason to walk me home?"
"I didn't want you to walk alone."
I laughed. "I walk home everyday, alone."
"I know and it kept bothering me." he said looking into my eyes.
He is moving mad.
"Really? Even when you were so pissed, you couldn't even hold yourself up?"
In case you haven't noticed yet, sarcasm is my only language.
He laughed. "Especially then Elle."
Lies.

"Well this is me." I said and he nodded. Why is he being so awkward?
"Thank you, I guess." I didn't know how to say bye to him so I walked up to my entrance.
"Wait." Oh now he can speak.
"You didn't say bye." he opened his arms. "Don't leave me hanging." he said because I had not moved yet. I sighed and decided to hug him.
He was actually really tall, not as tall as Cal but still.
The same smell of aftershave reached my nose.
"Goodnight." Simon said into the hug.
"Night." I said and leave to go into my flat.
