"How was the interview?" I ask Cal as I leave Tobi and Simon behind so they can hang out as planned. "I think good, I'll get an answer in the next few days." he said.
Still with his slightly smarter clothes on he was laying on the couch.
Is it hot in here? No?
"Fingers crossed." I say to him.
"Hey." he got up and walked towards me. "Thank you for always supporting me. I realised I missed living with you."
"I did too, so much." I smile at him.
"And I'm sorry that I never texted you once I left the country."
"Cal, do not feel guilty. I never did either there was a lot going on." I said.
"I understand, I'm just glad we're here now." he said. I opened my arms for him to hug me which he did and it felt so comforting. We separated but kept looking into each others eyes.
Without noticing our faces inched closer and closer until our lips met.
I've imagined this moment so many times before but nothing was better than actually experiencing it.

The kiss turned more passionate until I decided to break it off so that I could get some air.
As I open my eyes, I almost screamed, Simon's face appeared instead of Cal's.
"Everything okay?" I take a deep breath and blink again. Elle calm down, your imagination is playing a trick on you. You have definitely just kissed Callum NOT Simon.
I nod. "I hope this doesn't complicate things between us." he said and I shake my head, still unable to speak.
"I'm going to lay down for a bit." I say and run off to my room as quickly as possible.

I lay on my bed. What the hell is wrong with me? Ever since Cal returned I wanted to kiss him and now this happens? I was not even able to enjoy the moment we shared.

Taking a nap is probably the best thing to do right now, to forget my thoughts and everything that just happened a moment ago.
Trying to forget was easier said than done. My brain has no pause button and keeps racing, rather than falling asleep I keep thinking about him. His mesmerising blue eyes, his soft light brown hair, his tall figure. I gasp for air, I had just been thinking about Simon Minter! Again! This is not possible and these thoughts need to stop, besides Cal is the better match for me anyways.

"Hi Dad." I wave as he had just entered the bar.
"Hi Elle." He hugged me as soon as he reached the staff section.
"I saw Simon on the way here and he told us good luck for today." he smiled.
At the mention of his name my heart starts to race I still haven't figured out if that is positive or negative.
"Oh, thanks." I said. My parents had seen Simon a couple of times and they oddly like him. No idea why but they keep asking about him.

"What can I say Mr Wright, perfect score." The inspector said after counting all the points together. "We have no reason to be worried, your daughter does a good job at maintaining this place." I smile at my dad.
"I wish you a good rest of the evening." The inspector said and left. Before walking away he placed a sticker on our door saying rated 5 out of 5 stars.

"You do a great job here Elle, thank you for everything." My dad complemented me.
"This is all your doing." I say to him. "Don't be afraid to ask for a bit of help in the bar, we could also hire someone in addition." I decided to keep that in the back of my mind, just in case it gets too stressful.
"I'll see you Elle." My dad was about to walk out when I realised Simon had just entered.
"Simon, how are you my boy?" my dad asked and hugged him.
"I'm good Marc, how are you? How did the inspection go?"
"Everything went perfect, all because of Elle." my dad said.
"Well congrats." Simon smiled.
"I'm going to have to leave now, bye guys." he waved and left.

Oh no, now I'm alone with Simon. My dad and I had agreed on opening Wired after the inspection, which is now.
"Hi." he said after walking up to the bar. "Hi." I said back while trying to avoid his gaze.
"Everything okay?"
"Yes, fine." Still not daring to look into his eyes.
"Elle, what's up?" he asked seriously. I sigh not wanting to admit this. but I knew I had to or else it would eat me up alive.
"I kissed Cal today." Why am I telling him this?
"Okay." I couldn't read his expression.
"Sorry, what I meant to say was, after we kissed I.." was I really about to tell him this?
"You?" Simon realised I paused to think about something.
"After the kiss, I couldn't stop thinking about you." I immediately regretted saying it.
"I shouldn't have said that, sorry please forget about it." I turned around I didn't want to look at Simon. Also I'm pretty sure I am as red as a tomato right now. Knowing he well be sitting across me I didn't dare to turn around. I have messed up everything with him.
"Elle turn around." his voice was soft.
"No I know what you're going to say."
"Do you really?" he challenged me.
"Yes, you don't want to see me ever again?" I came out more as a question. He snickered.
"You are unbelievable." he said.
"You are right, I was about to say exactly that." I'm trying to hide my disappointment.
"Well do you want something to drink?" I ask swiftly, wanting to forget about this whole day.
Simon laughed: "I'm joking I hope you know that."
I look at him.
