You had succeeded in getting a confession out of Powers as you usually do. You sent it over to the victims and the police station first thing after you got the footage, then killed him. You shot them execution style in the forehead and dumped their bodies in the woods, simple but effective.

It had been two weeks since then and you had a shift down at the café. You loved baking, did it when you were happy, sad, stressed, whenever. You wrapped your apron around your waist and flipped the closed sign so that it showed 'open'. You liked working the early shifts despite being a night owl, there was nothing better than the smell of fresh pastries in the morning.

You immediately began working on some fresh bread for the display since they were running out. Then you plugged in the coffee machine and made sure all the sugars and milks were organized beside it. You heard the jingling of the bells on the door and smiled. "Welcome to Arabesque Café, I'll be right with you." You shouted from behind the counter.

The name of the café originated from the arabesque like textures of the walls and ceiling, despite it being small it was quite a beautiful small place to sit and enjoy life in. The tall figure took a seat on a bar stool in front of the counter. You came up from behind the counter and turned around to face them.

"Thank you for waiting! I'll take your order now," You told him, raising your eyebrows at the man in front of you. He smiled softly before placing the book in his hand down. "Hmm... you look familiar do I know you?"

He shook his head. "Oh - I don't think so, this is my first time here. A friend recommended it." He said, placing his hair behind his ear, giving another breath taking smile. He then took his order, a tea and a blueberry muffin.

"Coming right up!" You exclaimed, you may or may not have had a coffee with three sugars in it before your shift started. You swore you recognized him, but you shrugged it off. "Oh right, I know you're the only person here as of now, but it's procedure so can I get your name?"

"It's uh Spencer... Spencer Reid." He said, tapping his fingers on the countertop. His glasses framed his face perfectly, you loved the way he spoke and the way his eyes sparkled in the light of the sunrise.

You shook out of it and wrote his name down on the cup. You put a green tea bag in the cup and poured hot water on top of it. You added a bit of honey before using a stirring stick to spin it around. You placed the lid on top of it and placed it in front of Spencer, as well as taking out a warm muffin and placing it in a small box for him.

"There you are Mr. Reid," You told him with a smile.

"It's Doctor.." He said, chuckling softly.

"Oh my bad... doctor." You mutter the last part quietly. He raised his face to look at you, a shiver running down his spine as he heard the word leaving your mouth. He had no idea why it affected him, hundreds of people had called him doctor before, but the way you said it... was just different. Her voice broke him out of his thoughts. "So are you a medical doctor or did you just get your doctorate? You look a little young for both though... no offense you seem like a perfectly smart guy."

"Oh no worries, I got my first doctorate when I was uh-"  He paused, deciding whether he should be honest with her about his life. She would definitely react weirdly if he told her he got 3 doctorates the first being when he was 17. He sighed and went on with it. "21, it was a chemistry degree." He told her, failing to mention the other two.

You were surprised, you didn't mean to be, but he had to be a special kind of smart to have gotten a PhD that early in life. He would also easily find out about your operation... oh but what is hanging out with him just this once, it's not like he was working with the feds or anything.
