Hanna's POV

.

"You might wanna bring a bathing suit or something to swim in."

How detailed and interesting, Mr. Irwin. Now I have to rummage through my bags to find a bathing suit. Doesn't he get that I'm moving to another CONTINENT today and I don't have time to look for "something to swim in?" How considerate.

After about 5 minutes, I finally found my bathing suit and an outfit to wear. Luckily, I had only recently packed it with the rest of my belongings. Even though it rains a lot in England, I decided to bring it along with me than to just throw it out. It was almost 10 o'clock, so I just checked for anything else in my room that I might of left behind. When I was sure I had everything, I went downstairs to ask my mom if I could go hang out with friends since the flight was in the late evening.

"Sure sweetie. Just make sure you get here BEFORE 6:30."

"Okay mum. I'm leaving around fifteen to 11 so I'll be around if you need any help around the house."

With that, I ran up the stairs to get ready.

~~~30 minutes later~~~
I began walking over to Lexa's house to see whatever Ashton had planned. I was pretty excited to see what he had planned. It's probably pretty obvious on what Ashton had planned for me. He's probably taking Lexa, Luke, and I to the beach or throwing a pool party at Lexa's house. How much more obvious could he make it?
Once I reached Lexa's house, I knocked on the door and waited until Lexa opened the door and greeted me with a big hug.
"Hey Hanna! Surprise! Well, you probably knew what this was but we wanted to have fun with you for the last time in a while."
"You threw a party for me?" I asked knowingly.
"We threw a BOSS party for you." Lexa responded from somewhere inside the house.
Lexa and Luke came over to hug me, and Ashton hugged me again after them. Ashton held me for quite a longer time than usual. What's up with him?
"Feeling over affectionate, aren't we Mr. Irwin?" I joked.
Ashton then did something very, very unexpected. He looked down and blushed. Blushed. If there is one thing Ashton hasn't done around girls, it's act nervous around them.
Besides that, the party went pretty smooth. We took a ton of pictures on our phones and Luke's camera. We ran around the pool hitting each other with water balloons and pushing each other into the pool just for the fun of it. Luke even slipped into the pool and almost died, but I still found it pretty funny. Oh well, at least he's alright.
This was definitely a fun last day in Australia.
~~~6 hours later~~~

Lexa and I began to walk back to my house so that she could come with my family to the airport. I was having very mixed emotions since I my excitement about a new life in England began to kick in, but I dreaded the fact I would be leaving all of my friends and memories in Sydney.

Once we got to my house, my family and I all helped put our luggage in the car. My mom, being the paranoid mother she is, made sure multiple times that we hadn't left anything in the house. Then, we began our journey to the airport. Lexa and I talked the entire ride about how much we'd miss each other and how much we'd call each other on Skype and text. Lexa has always been, and always will, be my best friend no matter where we are or what happens.

The drive to the airport seemed so short since I had wanted to stay in Sydney forever. After we had gotten to our terminal and past baggage check, each one of my family members gave Lexa a big hug and went to go board the plane. Then, I hugged Lexa for the last time that day and promised one last time to stay in contact. I then ran behind my family to join them on boarding the plane. I was really going to miss Lexa.

Our plane took off in under an hour, and I made sure I had a window seat to view Sydney as the plane slowly gained speed and altitude.

Author's Note

Hey guys! As you probably know by now, I'm really slow at updating. However, I had a major writer's block that had prevented me from writing. Now, I'm going to try my best to update as much as I can to make sure to write my readers long chapters frequently. Thanks for reading, and you're amazing!
