Hanna's POV

.

"Hanna! HANNA! HANNNA!"

I was awaken by Natalie's voice calling for me.

"What, Nat?"

"Mummy said she needed help cleaning up the house before we leave since everything is already packed." Nat answered.

The last thing I wanted to do was help clean for who ever was stupid enough to move into this broken down house that I loved so much, but I obeyed my mom and helped clean.

After about an hour of cleaning, I decided that the house was clean enough. Since Nat already woke me up, I found it pointless to go back to sleep since I could sleep on the plane. I went down the creaky steps to the kitchen to fix myself a bowl of cereal to find my dad cooking.

"Morning, dad."

"Hello, sweetie. How did you sleep?"

"Good, I guess. Did you finish packing?"

"Your mom helped me last night, so everything is settled. Don't worry about it, though."

Since it was obvious my dad didn't feel like talking about the planning on the move across the world, I kept quiet and picked out a bowl and spoon. I picked out Lucky Charms from the cabinet and emptied the cereal into the bowl. I poured the milk and began to eat in silence, trying not to disturb my dad.

Then, I heard Jessica running down the stairs.

"Hanna, I'm hungwy," she spoke in her undeveloped English.

"Do you want cereal, Jess?"

"Yes."

As I fixed breakfast for Jessica, I wondered if the move would affect Jess as much as it would affect the rest of us. I doubt it would. Since she's four and hasn't even started preschool yet, she won't have to adjust to a new group of friends and environment. When we move to England, I doubt she'll even remember what life was like in Australia.

I put the cereal on the table and put Jessica on a chair so she could eat. I got up to wash my bowl since the movers would be shipping our plates and other furniture ahead of time to England. I left my dad and Jess in the kitchen to go the restroom to get ready.

After a long bath, I went back to my room and got dressed. I put my hair in a bun and checked my phone. I remember when Alexa's family got me this phone last year. Since our families were as close as me and her, they understood my family's financial situation and why I couldn't have an iPhone like every other kid my age. So for Christmas, Alexa's uncle got me a gold iPhone 5S. I felt really guilty for accepting such an expensive gift from him, but Alexa explained to me that he made a lot of money since he worked with Modest Management.

That's when I realized that Alexa's uncle may have worked with the world famous boyband One Direction. I could have screamed when she told me that, but surprisingly I was able to hold in my inner fangirl from showing. Alexa and I have been trying to talk to him about letting us meet them if he could, but he usually doesn't come to Australia. The last time I saw him was when he got me this phone.

I checked the time.

8:37 am

Nat woke me up way too early.

After I placed my suitcase near my door, I heard my phone ring. I checked to see that Ashton was calling. I picked up.

"Hey Ash."

"Hey babe. What time is your flight?"

Ashton refers to all girls as "babe." I have no idea why.

"7:30. Why?"

"I have a surprise for you. Come by Lexa's house around 11?"

"Um, sure? I'll try to see if my parents will let me."

"Oh, and Hanna?"

"Yeah?"

"You might wanna bring a bathing suit or something to swim in."

And with that, he hung up.
