Ngiting-aso ang loko matapos ibalik sa akin ang cellphone. Makikitawag daw kasi wala siyang load, pero may masama palang balak. I should've known better.

I was starting to type a response, telling her the truth when the three dots appear and then, disappear.
Ano ang plano niyang sasabihin? Don't tell me, she's gonna answer Kael's question.
The dots were still in motion. Kung gano'n nga, ano kaya ang magiging sagot niya? Yes or no question lang naman. Why would she have a hard time answering that?
Pero sige na nga, aamin na ako. I have a crush on you, she finally responded.
"Shit!" I blurted.
"Ba't ka napamura? Nag-reply na?" atat na tanong ni Kael saka hinablot ang cellphone ko. "Oh!" reaksyon niya matapos basahin ang message. "Nabuko yata ako."
"What?" Pilit kong inagaw kay Kael ang cellphone para malaman kung ano ang tinutukoy niya, pero tumakbo siya palayo.
"Ako na'ng bahala," pahabol niya.
I just let him get away. Ayaw kong magmukha kaming mga batang naghahabulan dito sa campus dahil lang sa message. Then, I thought if there's an ounce of truth Rainbow's confession. It's hard to know the genuineness of people's feelings online, even if that's only a silly, little crush.
Makalipas ang ilang minuto, bumalik rin si Kael.
"Ano na namang kalokohan ang ginawa mo?" tanong ko sa kanya habang iniaabot sa akin ang cellphone. Nagkibit-balikat lang siya't tinapik ako sa balikat.
"Ikaw na ang bahala, my friend," sabi ni Kael bago magpaalam at umalis.
"What the hell did you do?" I shouted at him, but he only grinned and waved his hand.
Oh no! This isn't you, Ash. Hindi siya gan'to mag-type ng message. My goodness!!! I should've realized that earlier.
I read her message. So, ito 'yong sinasabi ni Kael na nabuko siya. But wow, Rainbow must really have a crush on me. She knew my manner of typing, that's saying something.
Yes, yes, yo. Hindi ako ang crush mo. Mas gwapo ako don, malokong reply sa kanya ni Kael.
Tell me that Ash haven't read my message, sabi ni Rainbow.
Pano ba yan, nabasa niya na. Hehe, sagot ni Kael.
