Beca's P.O.V: Nightmares

I know that this is a little late but I had to do this soon I love you all for sticking with the story and I am sorry for this short chapter. it's only like 760 words.

I cry as I hold my brother down. "It's for your own good Lucifer, please don't make this harder than it has to be." He turns around and glares at me. "You were always dads little bitch, the only difference between you and me is that you don't have the nerve to kill your own brother." I pulled him down and ripped his wings out at the same time. I watched as the earth burned around us from the impact.

"Azule, please. Stop."

I growled and dragged him further down, straight to hell and made sure he was in his cage. "You aren't strong enough to contain me, and we both know it."

I nodded and took my grace and burned it in the fires of hell. Screaming in pain as it burned me to the core....

"AHHHHHHHHHHHHH" I shoot up as I scream in pain clawing at my skin, trying to get rid of the fire burning me. I felt somebody shaking me and tried to push them away. Eventually they pinned me down, for I was too weak and in pain to stop them.

"Beca it's ok. Your safe with me." I clung to Jesse for dear life as he hugged me close to his chest.

I had finally broken.

He held me as I cried on how it was al my fault. My brother dying, demons, the curroption of my grace. All of it and he held me the whole time as if to keep me together as I fell apart.

After a while we just laid there and I couldn't sleep so he started singing softly so that I would go to sleep.

I drifted off to the sound of his soothing voice in my ears calming me, making me drift off without the nightmares and pain of my past. I knew now, more than anything that I needed Jesse.
