Henry (pov)
I was walking through the halls as quick as possible as soon as I made it to my room door I quickly went inside and closed the door. I chanted a spell to lock it so that no one could just open it and sees what I am doing.
I went over to my bed and reached down underneath it and pulled out a box and opened it. I took out some stuffs that used to belong to my family.
Candles, herbs, silver bowl, knifes, crystal, lighter, chalks, and my family heirloom the book of Shadows.
I started to organize everything to do a spell, I took out some herbs and a blade and the sliver bowl and put them in place to where I had the Book of Shadows.
Before I could begin there was a knock on my door. I looked at the door confused but got up to open it anyway.
Once I opened the door, who was standing there confused me, it was Josette Saltzman.
"Can I help you?" I asked with a confused expression.
"Hi I know this is kind of a surprise as to why I'm at your door but it was bothering me so I had to at least try. Um......I was wondering if you'd like to join me and half of the school and help us out for today?"
"Mmmm.......what's today?" I asked staring into her eyes.
"Oh." She handed me one flyers that was in her hands. "Today is Founder's Day and it would be a pleasure if you help out. I'm doing this because it's a big deal for Mystic high and my dad's a big sponsor in these things so I definitely have a reason to be a part of this and as a student who's the headmistress's daughter here I just think it would be a great thing to gather a little help from some of students."
"Ok look love the way how you thought of a person like me to help but I'm sorta in the middle of something so, I'll see you around."
I was about to close the door but she stopped it with her hand. I groaned at her mentally. "Yes?" I asked annoyed.
"Is that some sorta spell your doing?" She was now pointing in my room towards the things that I have set out on my floor.
"That is for........a....assignment." I lied.
"Yeah I think you kind of missed the part where I said I'm the headmistress's daughter, so your gonna have to try a more convincing lie."
I scratched the back of my neck. "What do want?" I asked frustratedly.
"I want you to let me in. I could help." She suggested.
"Yeah didn't I hear some roomer of you not having powers from time to time."
"Yeah but I'm not a witch because of my powers I'm a witch because it's in my blood and that was along time ago, so yeah I have my powers."
I contemplate on it a little until I just decided to let her in.
Once she was in I closed the door as quick as I could and turned around to see her roaming my room.
"Wow your room says a lot."
"What's that supposed to mean?" I sassed.
"I didn't mean it in that way. I meant like I thought you were more of a simple person but now I see that you have a lot of herbs and things that could spell a person away." She looked around my room.
Her eyes fell to the floor where the book was laid out. "Is that it? The book of Shadows?" She said looking at it with awe in her eyes. "It's so huge."
"Yeah it has all the things from my family's history to my legacy. Not only that but it has some real powerful spells."
