VIII: Romana

"Hey you up" Ash whispered to Lana

"yeah." Lana sleepily said..

"Xander told me you had a bad dream last night, probably the alcohol now that I think about it" Ash chuckled.

Lana looked around Xander nowhere to be found. "Yeah it was really bad. I feel bad for Xander, I cried on him." Lana smiles.

"You wanna talk about it?" Ash asked.

"I don't mind to honestly, at the time I was just so confused about it." Lana explained sitting up next to Ash.

"Makes sense." Ash agreed.

"So in this dream I went back to the lab room, the one we found yesterday and I found Andrew in a pod. I should've known it was a dream then because I would have seen him yesterday. Anyways, Olivin walked in the lab with me and Andrew got me. I got infected by eating this goopy stuff. Short story Kellen found us and I was a zombie and I died, Camera and Vin did too." Lana stated.

"Dude even if you were infected I would still take you with us to find a cure for put you in a cage!" Ash joked.

"I know but that dream was to real for my comfort." Lana admitted.

Lana got up and so did Ash they both walked out talking about Lana's dream more. They both had breakfast. and hung out for the day.

Chloe looked over to Adenn.

"I hate watch duties. All we do is sit and watch the wind go by! Not to mention it's cold out here!" Chloe ranted.

Adenn chuckled "At least I have boobs to keep me warm. Libby is always sniping out front and needs the sleep."

"HEY! I have boobs they are just none existent." Chloe pouted with her arms crossed.

Adenn laughed and continues to look around the house gate. It was about as big as a plastic bag but it was an actual backpack. It was covered in a daisy pattern. Adenn stared at it for a moment

"Hey Chloe I found a cute bag with stuff in it." He said as he walked to her.

"Uh maybe you should take in inside until someone takes it, I think Olivin might like it" Chloe told.

Then Adenn walks back to the backpack and he looks inside in the backpack and finds a few things MP3 player and a half eaten Twinkie. Then a note on the ground beside it, was in good condition surprisingly enough.

He opens the note.

Adenn looks at the backpack again and questions himself where the girl went. Soon enough he finds dried blood leading to a shed not one of them have been to or seen. Adenn gets his gun out incase of any gear as he called them.

As the door creaked open. And a fowl smell comes out into his nose.

That smell... What in the world.

He had flashlight so he turned it on to find a room full of different things like knifes on the walls, guns, food, and injectors for something. He looks to his left and sees a big cage with a girl zombie in it. It clicked in his head.

That's Romana!

She look about 5 or 6 years old. She was groaning and trying to get out of the bars to eat him. Adenn just stared in confusion how and why did she end up in a cage? Then he seen another note, on the shelf next to Romana's cage.

"Damn." Adenn whispered.

He looked in the shed a bit more to find walkie talkies. Only three though. He put them in his hood and closed the shed.

What to do with Romana? And why did they abandon their kid?
