-3rd person pov- jaena was laying in her comfy queen sized bed, fully awake. she was wrapped in her black comforter. she was looking at people's valentine's day pictures. don't get her wrong, she was happy for them, but it was 9 in the morning! thirsty asses.
she sighed and responded to some "happy valentine's day!!" messages from her associates and family. lemme get up... she thought, and rolled out of bed... literally. jaena lived with her parents considering she graduated in a couple months. after graduation, she planned on going out of town to college and pursuing her dreams of being a psychiatrist.
jaena walked to the bathroom and brushed her teeth/ washed her face. she always got in the shower the night before. "jae you up?" she heard her mom call. "yes!" she called back. not even 2 minutes later, her mom walked in the bathroom and sat on the toilet, watching jaena take her scarf and bonnet off.
"good morning. you doing some today?" her mom, jaela, asked. "moooorning... i ain't doin' nun.. ion gotta boyfriend or nun.." jaena mumbled, but her mom could still hear her. and you literally know i'm singl-
"you'on just have to spend today with a significant other jae." jaena put an emphasis on "have". jaena looked at her mom. "i know ma, but all my friends got valentines.." "oh..well maybe we can hang out today before me and yo daddy go out tonight." jaena smiled. "aww where y'all going?" her mom and dad was so cute!
they were one of those couples who'd been together for a looong time. they had jaena before they got married, but her dad proposed soon after. "girl i think he taking me to this place out west." the smith's lived in the suburbs. they were all from the west side though, they just moved when jaena was in 1st, going to 2nd, grade.
"and you cool with him taking you all the way out there?" jaena asked, knowing her mom don't like going far places. "that's only if i have to drive, ion mind going on road trips or nun like that." she replied.
"mmmm.." jaena slipped past her mom and went back to her room.
she was putting on her undergarments when her phone..dinged? she got a text message from her cousin, misharron aka asian.
