Chapter 10 Surprise! (Part 1)

Hey guys!!!!! Sorry for taking so long on updating!! I haven't really had time to update. Please forgive me!!! This is going to be a two part chapter because well... Suspense... Yeah... Anyway here is the next chapter!! Hope y'all like it!!!

Nana's POV

It's been several days since Brick got into a coma and Momoko hasn't left at all. She's always by his side, barely even leaving to eat, drink, shower, and such like that. I doubt she sleeps. While we wait for Brick to wake up, the rest of the PowerPuffs gave Audrey and I a home at the professor's house. That's what we've been told to call him. Nathan was being stubborn and didn't want to leave me alone with a bunch of strangers since I had just had a lil trouble, but Miyako convinced him enough. The boys, Kyler and Nathan, are staying with the RowdyRuffs. Miyako is a sweet girl and so is Boomer, her counterpart. I can tell they're a perfect couple. They're both sweet, nice, kind, and selfless.

Now Kaoru is a different story. Though she can be nice, she likes to tease and make fights with everyone. Especially with Butch and Nathan. Apparently like Butch, Nathan has a short temper and will explode over the slightest thing. But I like him and I have to deal with him. Lucky me. But I'm pretty sure Kaoru has to go through the exact same, except I'm more calm. Kaoru and Butch do seem good together. They both have the same personality and they even look a bit the same.

"Hey Nana! What ya thinking??" Audrey said as she ran over to where I was sitting. I was sitting in one of the chairs in the back yard of the professor's house. Let me just say, he had a very big yard. The grass is bright green, the flowers are in bloom, the air is neither cold or hot. The perfect day to sit and think.... Or well talk now.

"Oh I'm just thinking about everything that's gone on in the past few days." I smile sadly as Audrey sat down in the chair next to mine. Her hair was in its usual way; two braided pig-tails with neon pink bows at the end of them. Her outfit consisted of a bright pink top and some white jeans. Not a bad outfit. My hair has its usual white headband in and my outfit consists of a white top with some jeans.

"Yeah, I can't believe Brick still hasn't woken up yet. Momoko is worried sick. Kaoru and Miyako are worried about her. Butch and Boomer are worried about Brick, Miyako, and Kaoru. Nathan is worried about you. And I'm... I'm worried about what Kyler said...." She looked down at the table in deep thought. Her bright eyes glowed with worry, confusion, and determination.

"What did Kyler say?" I hope it isn't anything bad.

"He said that something will happen. Something bad will happen to the RowdyRuffs. He doesn't know what, I don't know how he even knows. It makes me angry to know that something will happen to the boys, our boys." Her formed a fist and slammed on the glass table that was standing in front of us. Her eyes were now filled with anger. Something is going to happen? To.. To.. Nathan? To the rest? The rest of the boys? But why?? W-What does that even mean?? W-What'll happen to us? To the rest of the girls??

"I don't know... I don't know anything except what Kyler told me." I hadn't realized I spoken my thoughts. I wanted to say something, to reassure her, to comfort her. To say that he might have been lying, that it won't come true, but I couldn't. I wasn't even sure of it myself. We stared at each other, both hoping to say something, to do something. But neither of us did.

"Audrey! Nana! Come inside, it might rain!" Shouted a sweet voice. Miyako's voice. I glanced up at the sky to see that it had blackened in the 15 minutes that I have been out here. I hear Audrey sigh as she gets up.

"I'm going to go call Kyler, see you at dinner Nana!" And with that, she runs inside. Dinner.... Oh right, the professor is throwing a dinner party for the ruffs and puffs. He hasn't told us why yet, he wants it to be a surprise.
