<(Name)'s POV>"Wake up, Ma! We've gotta say goodbye to the High King!"
Waking up to almost all of your children jumping on you isn't the most ideal situation, but it is a welcome one. Snapping open my eyes, I give my children a fond smile, which they immediately return.
"Alright, I'm up, my little dragons."
Soon after saying that, Lydia comes in to round up the little rascals who escaped her vision.
"I'm sorry, my thane. I tried to keep them from waking you, but they are extremely excited to see High King Ulfric."
Giving her a small grin, I reply "Nonsense Lydia! It's about time that I woke up, can't have Ulfric waiting for me."
Despite Lydia's exasperated look, I can see the corners of her lips tilt up just slightly, which broadens my smile even more. I turn to my children, only to see them already gone and jumping into the carriages that I had prepared yesterday. Turning to Lydia, I see her laying out my finest garments, to which I raise a questioning eyebrow to.
"What are you doing, my friend? It is only Ulfric. He wouldn't care if I showed up in rags, let alone these fancy cloths!"
"My thane, you do realize that we will be gathering your acquaintances, then going to meet the king of Westeros, correct?"Freezing up, I try to play it off.
"Of course not! How could I forget such a momentous occasion?! Heh heh...."
"You forgot, didn't you?"
"NO!.....maybe.....yes..."Suddenly feeling like a scolded child, I shoo Lydia out of my chambers and throw on the dress hastily.
It's a simple thing, seeing as how all my gold either goes towards armor and weapons, or anything my children show slight interest in. That being said, I wasn't the one who bought the dress. It was a gift from Ulfric, to show his gratitude for helping him win the war and for liberating Skyrim's people. He knows that I hate anything extravagant, so he had the seamstress make something that would suit my tastes. A small smile graces my features as I look down on the custom Talos Amulet that lays against my chest.
Bringing the artifact to my lips, I place a chaste kiss to it.
"Talos guide me in this foreign world. Please help me protect my family and all those I hold dear."
Taking one last look at my home, I turn and head out to my children and friend.
