<Name's POV>

    Slumping over, I glanced at the familiar scenery passing by. To think, I was once destined for the chopping block, only to be saved by Alduin, to then become the hero of Skyrim. Heaving a heavy sigh, I turn to look at my children, only to see them all passed out. Giving a soft smile, I turn back to looking out the small window of the carriage. It's an intricate thing, with Dwemer style patterns and glowing blue emblems. The seats are a blood red velvet, with gold stitchings.

Suddenly, the carriage lurched to a stop. Readying my weapon, I look outside the window once more, only to see that we are parked outside of the grand gates of Windhelm. Quickly sheathing the sharp blade, I hop out and stretch my legs. Reaching into the carriage, I shake the shoulder of my eldest son, Ma'Rahka. He snaps open his eyes and darts them to me. Giving him a small smile, I ask him to wake his siblings while I talk to the stable hand. In return, he gives me a lazy grin and a soft nod.

Standing up, I walk over to the stables. Catching the eye of the man in charge, he power walks towards me, waving his hand in the process.

"It's an honor to see you here, my Thane! Are you looking to purchase a horse or to dock your carriage?"
"It is nice to see you as well, my friend. Yes, I'm here to dock my carriage."

Quickly placing a large coin purse in his hands, I give him a wink and smirk. Seeing the heat rise to his cheeks make my smile grow into a larger one.

"O-Of course, my l-lady. Let me g-get that for you!"

I continue to watch in amusement as he stumbles towards the carriage, throwing glances at me every once in a while. A small chuckle falls from my lips as I walk to my family situated in front of the great steel gates of Windhelm.

"What took you so long, Mama?", my youngest, Maisha, asks. Before I could even get a word in, Raeza answers for me.

"She was flirting with the stable hand, weren't you Ma?", she asks, offering a sly look and small smirk. Talos help me, she's as snarky as me.

"N-NO! That is not what I was doing!"

Raeza only gives me a doubtful look, turning to talk to Sissel.

Sighing at my sneaky daughter, I push open the gates that stand in our path.

Divines help me.
