Ok so this is my first time writing FanFiction and constructive critiscm is very much appreciated. I don't know if anyone is even going to read it anyway but here you go...

After the film crew had packed up the last of its supplies and bid their farewells, Sara and Ava had gone back to Ava's apartment which really could be called their apartment at this point. They had eaten Chinese takeout and watched Grey's Anatomy until bedtime. It was a comfy sort of peacefulness until right after they brushed their teeth when Ava had voiced her concern about the documentary. Sara had made sure that Ava understood that she didn't blame her for the days mishaps and while she might have been a little ruffled about being filmed right after something so traumatic, she had moved on and could now laugh with her lover quite freely about Kevin's face when they had denied the film to be true. Ava had looked doubtful at first but when Sara leaned in and captured her girlfriend's lips she seemed to decide there were better things to think about.

They were both exhausted from their adventures and decided to go right to bed instead of indulging in their...usual shenanigans...if you will. They were so tired that they fell asleep as soon as their heads hit the pillows, Ava being the big spoon as always, despite Sara's complaints. The latter tucked into her arms and smiling softly in her sleep. For once sleeping without the nightmares that plagued her mind almost every night. They had gotten better though. Ava was in no doubt to thank for that. Although Sara was sure as soon as she wasn't weighted down with the almost magnetic-like force of sleep, she would start seeing Oliver lying on the ground, whispering his last words and then drifting up somewhere more peaceful while a new world where Lex was trusted but where her team were alive dawned around him and Barry sobbed on her shoulder. But those dreams would have to wait for another time. Right now she was safe in her girlfriends arms and though it might sound cheesy, this was where she knew she belonged. This was home.

In the morning Sara woke up still tired but feeling more refreshed. She and Ava spent quite a lot of the morning snuggling before Ava had to go to work. Sara whined and tried to get her to stay but to no avail. While Ava was putting her hair in a tight bun, Sara's phone screen lit up with a call from Gideon. Sara put it on speaker so Ava could hear too.

"Good morning Captain, I just thought that you should know that there is an anachronism involving Mozart in the 1990's and we could use your help on it but we can most likely handle it if you're not up to it quite yet." Gideon's half robotic half human voice chirped through the screen.

"Ok, No I'll be fine Gids, I'll be right there." Sara replied tiredly before hanging the phone up. Ava looked at her girlfriend taking in the bags under her eyes and the fact that her face was still a shade too pale for Ava's liking.

"You know, maybe Gideon's right babe. You look like you could use a day off. Or maybe a few days off. You've been through an awful lot lately" Ava said while watching Sara warily out of the corner of her eye.

Sara sighed and ran a hand through her hair. " I know," she said.

"I'm sensing there's a 'but' coming" Ava replied.

"But, oh don't look at me like that Aves, I need to see the team to apologize for yesterday. I wasn't really fair to them and I know they were only trying to help. I also already promised Gideon I'd help out with the mission and after all I am the captain."

"Number one, you know you don't owe anyone an apology Sara, we've been over this. Second, even the captain needs days off sometimes."
