Narrators POV-
Charlie had yet to take his eyes off Simone, she could feel his stair burning into the side of her head
After what seemed like hours to Simone, Charlie looked away, occasionally stealing a glance her way, this action went unnoticed by Simone and everybody else, just not Ginny
"Suppers ready!" molly cheered bring over the soup, salad, dinner rolls, and drinks over to the table
The Adults and kids rushed to the bathroom or kitchen or wash their hands before touching the food, once they were seated at the table, people quickly gathered food onto their plate
Simone was last to the table, as she was last to wash her hands, the last seat as at the end of the table, next to Ginny and across from Charlie
She sat dow, trying to ignore the glance Charlie gave her, she gather all the food she thought she would eat and tucked in, along with everyone else
"This soup is amazing Molly" Jessie complimented
"Agreed" Fred, George, an Ginny chimed, seeing as Ron was stuffing his face with the food
Charlie and Simone had already tried some, when Molly offered a spoonful to them both
"What were you going to say in your room?" Simone asked, turning to Ginny
"Oh! That Charlie, here" she gestured towards her older brother, catching his attention "works at a dragon sanctuary in Romania!"
"Really?!" Simone exclaimed, what Ginny said catching her interests
"Yeah, that's why I'm never really around, you like dragons?"Charlie said
"I like all kinds of creatures, but dragons are one of my favorites"
This sentence made Charlies heart melt, again, yes they had just met,but something felt as though they have known each other for more than a couple hours
"Agreed" chuckled Charlie
"Tell me about it, the reserve" Simone questioned
And so Charlie did, they talked for most of the meal, mainly about dragons
"This meal was lovely Molly, thank you, but I am afraid i have to leave this party early" Eve said
"I'll head out to" Jessie said, standing up from his seat "what about you?"
"I'll stay for a while" Simone said, not wishing to leave
'Oo! Moni, can we have a sleep over!" Exclaimed Ginny "in my room!"
Simone sent a look towards Molly then her mom, both sending a nod, saying she could
"Sure" chuckled Simone
"I'll go set up your bed!" Ginny said, running towards the stairs and up into her room
"Bye sweetie" Eve hugged and kissed her daughter
"See ya" waved her father, already by the door
"Thank you for coming, we should do this again soon!" molly said, leading Eve towards the door "Charlie and Simone, please get ahead start on pricking up dinner!"
Not arguing with Molly, the 2 started packing up dinner
"What house were you in?" Charlie asked, as he picked up the soup bowl
"Ravenclaw"
"Did you play quidditch?"
"Yeah, I was on of the chasers, but I didn't play in my 7th year, why?"
