Narrators POV
After going back to her cabin later that night, Simone was in disbelief, she was at her new job, which she has been her dream job, since, well forever, she has already made friends, and new dragons were going to hatch and Simone was determine to be there for it.
"how'd did today go?" Charlie said, coming up the stairs and snapping Simone out of her thoughts
"it was great! Kal showed me the nursery, the fields, I even got to see some of the elders, Kal also mentioned Rege, but we didn't see him"
"that's a good thing"
"why?'
"Rege, is one of the elders here, he has a major temper and will not hesitate to burn you, or eat you, that's why his name in Rege, it is Romanian for king, but despite how aggressive he is, he is one of the young male dragons here, only 6 years old"
"How do you guys feed him?"
"he gets it on his own, all though sometimes we have to bring a goat or to, he is getting really old"
"mhm" Simone hummed and went over to the stairs to go change into shorts and an over sized shirt for the night
After she had changed she went back up to the shared bedroom, were Charlie took the advantage of Simone leave and decided to change himself, but he underestimated how quick Simone could change
"holy shit!" He cried when she came back up the stairs, Charlie had just put his pants on, but was shirtless
"What?" Simone asked, she was yet to look over at Charlie, as she had brought up a book from down stairs
"nothing, its fine, all is fine" Charlie said as he leaped over behind the wall so Simone could not see him, but that didn't work in the slightest of ways
"Charlie?" Simone questioned, she walked over to Charlie half of the room "oh, sorry" She said, once she had seen Charlie, she did blush at how fit Charlie was, but seeing as he was uncomfortable with being shirt less, Simone left and went to get in bed.
Charlie had soon done the same, and had fallen into a dreamless sleep

Simone had a rude awakening to loud banging at the front door, looking over at Charlie, he was still in bed and sound asleep, now looking out of the window, the sun hadn't even come up yet
grumbling colorful words under her breath, she headed down the stairs and went to the front door
Opening she was met with a very colorful person
"Ah! Simone! I bring good news! I believe one of that abandoned Ukrainian Ironbelly egg is going to hatch, care to join me-"
"YES! Kal, thank you for coming and getting me! lets head over!"
Kal grabbed Simone's hand and apperated them both to the nesting cabin, which was the biggest out of them all, seeing as mother dragons had to come and check on their eggs
"where is it?" Simone asked
"well, I would say-"
they were interrupted by a loud crack
"over there" Kal pointed to were the crack came from
Simone approached the cracked egg, looking in the hole, she was meet with a bright golden eye
Shocked, Simone shirked and feel over, but quickly made her way over to the egg once more
With another crack There was another hole in the egg, now Simone could see a bright gold eye, and a dark blue one
