a few days went by , it was now lunch time. Everyone was near each other eating like always, Mother Persephone walked in and smiled closing the door. Father Hiko would get up and fix his vest and smile clapping his hands and saying "Children , may we please have your attention." The kids would stop talking and look up at Father and Mother, "As you all know , more parents come to see who would they like to adopt each and every few months! today a lovely couple decided to adopt...Ruth." Ruth looked up and smiled "Finally I won't have to be with you guys." Ayumi looked at Ruth and was about to say something but her mouth was quickly covered by Elianna "We'll miss you very much Ruth!" Elianna would say , "RUFTH MAKE THUR TO VITHITH AND WRITH TO UTH!" Katarina would say while holding her bread, Ruth nodded and ate her soup smiling at the fact that she got to leave , "Ruth dear, once your done go upstairs and get ready." Ruth nodded and ate the rest of her soup grabbing her fake tiara and putting it on her head. "Well i'll miss my peasants! it'll be way more funner without you guys." Myth walked up to her and tugged on her braid , "Hope you have fun with your family, you might end up like Cinderella and have to clean. Maybe that way you'll learn how to do things for yourself." Ruth rolled her eyes and grabbed her plate storming out . Klaus high-fived Myth and cheered, Atlas chuckled and continued to stand up grabbing his and Angie's dishes and helped her out her seat. The rest of the children would finish up and go upstairs to paint or go in the music room . Amethyst would run up to Mina discussing what she should give Ruth before she left, "I could give her a Rose quartz ! It stands for love and gives that type of energy which she'll hopefully get through her new family." Mina smiled and held the rock looking up at it before getting it snatched by Klaus "This is a unique pebble isn't it?" Klaus said with a lazy smirk on his face throwing the rock up and down and catching it in between . "It's a crystal Klaus." Amethyst said as she tried getting it back , Klaus would put his hand that was holding her crystal up in the air so she wouldn't reach , "Aw looks like someone's to small to reach." -- "Klaus don't be a douche! give it back." Mina would say as she watched him look at her , "I'm just looking at this pebble , nothing bad about it." Ayumi would walk behind Klaus and reach up with her left hand pulling his ear and the other pulling his hair , "Give it back Klaus." Klaus made a face that he was in a bit of pain and smirked at Ayumi , "Little miss tough is here I see. Of course they needed YOU as backup, Pathetic." Klaus would toss the crystal up making it fall and watching as the girls tried to catch it. Amethyst held the crystal and moved it around checking to see if it had any scratches , she felt a tug at her shirt and she turned down to see a pink haired girl . "Miss Amethyst can I see your pretty crystal?!" Amethyst nodded and let her hold it and watched as Angie showed her bear , "Look Mr. Bear it's so pretty!" Angie walked away holding is still in her hand and heading upstairs. By this time everyone was in the art or music room . Atlas sat down and grabbed a guitar on the floor and watched as Angie sat next to him still holding the crystal , "MR ATLAS! can you pleasssseeeeee play a song!?" Atlas smiled and nodded and started playing a tune , Mina sat next to him along with Ayumi , Amethyst , Elianna and Katarina . (Atlas was playing the tune from my kind of woman) Katarina would get up thinking she was bad-ass and started singing random words that definitely didn't match what Atlas was saying "YOURETH MY MY MY! MY KINDTH OF ladeyyy..."-- "SHUT UP KATARINA YOU'RE RUINING THE SONG!" Ezekiel yelled while laying on his stomach while swinging his legs up. "Donth everth tell me to shuth upth ethekiel..." she glared at him while sitting down next to him. Everest would come in and lean at the door frame watching Atlas and doing a lazy grin and crossing his arms , "Not bad Atlas." He mumbled under his breath the younger children who were in the art room would peek their heads in and smile at the music , Athena ran in dragging Akko by the hand and staring at Atlas and breathed loudly into his ear. As Atlas finished everyone would clap and compliment him , Mother Persephone would smile and clap slowly turning to Father Hiko , who looked back up from his clock and nodded at her giving her some signal. She nodded back and said loudly , "Atlas and Everest and Myth please come help me with dinner." Atlas got up and put the guitar back and walked towards mother next to Myth , Everyone else would stay upstairs. "Alright boys I'm going to need you to add some dumplings into this soup and some paprika... oh and stir it well please. I'll be upstairs with Ruth getting her ready." The boys nodded and watched as Mother walked out . Myth headed over to get the dumplings and some carrots, "Mother said we only needed dumplings Myth." Everest said, Myth turned to him and chuckled "I would much rather make it more flavorful, She's terrible at cooking. She barely adds any spices.." Myth would say as he chopped some carrots. Atlas would unwrap the dumplings and begin adding them into the soup along with some paprika , "Atlas can you add some tofu, please and thank you." Everest would say as he sat down on the counter. Atlas turned around and looked at Everest , "Uhm I remember Mother saying WE need to help, If you want tofu you can add it yourself." Everest looked and glared at him "You're already there though... saves you some time instead of arguing with me." Atlas continued to add spices and ignored Everest. After 5 minutes Everest got up and added tofu into the soup and looked up at Atlas "HAPPY NOW!?" Atlas chuckled and walked pass him to the sink and began washing his hands. Myth would put down some bowls starting with mini ones for the youngest children and put napkins along the table . "Everest add some soup to these bowls while I look for parsley." Everest rolled his eyes and sarcastically said "Yes master Myth!" he would grab the bowls and add some soup and put them along the counter and watched as Myth added parsley on top of each of them . "Hope this comes out good." Myth looked at him with a annoyed look and said "I make half the food here, and you eat it of course it'll be good." Everest was in a bit of shock and just stared at Myth and continued pouring soup into the bowls. As he walked into the dining room he put soups around the tables and juices and saw a pink haired girl run in and go next to Atlas "Mr. Atlas can you hand me those scissors please?" Atlas looked at her and nodded , "is it for arts and crafts?" Angie shrugged and looked at him "Athena says she needs it!" Atlas smiled and nodded "Alright but remember to be careful with them!" Angie gave him a thumbs up and skipped out . Mother Persephone came in and looked at the boys , "Wonderful job children!" she said as she watched the boys wash their hands and clean up the mess. She peaked her head out the door and yelled "DINNER! WASH UP NICELY KIDS!" 5 minutes passed and all the little kids sat down along with the other big kids , "Now everyone say thank you to your big brothers, Myth , Atlas and Everest." Katarina yelled holding her soggy bread "THANKTHS GUYTHS!" Ezekiel yelled too "YEAH THANKS GUYS!" everyone yelled Thank you to the boys. Atlas frantically looked around looking for Angie , "Uh Father wheres Angie?"- "Ayumi too!" Elianna said , Father looked around and saw Akko and Athena were missing as well. "I'll go look for them." Atlas said as he walked out he would walk near the stairs but than heard a giggle coming from the bathroom , he opened the door to see Ayumi struggling to style Athena's hair "Oh my god, if mother sees this I swear-" - "What's going on here?" Atlas said startling Ayumi. "N-NOTHING!" Athena turned her head to look at Atlas "HI ATLAS!" she waved aggressively. Atlas's face would go blank and he stared at the girls one strand of hair and the rest in uneven cuts almost like a zig zag "WHAT THE HELL HAPPENED AYU-" Akko would run out of the bathroom stall holding a chunk of hair and seeing her with half her hair hanging on while the other was chopped off . "hi atly!" Angie smiled holding her teddy bear "They look lovely don't they Mr. Atlas!?" Atlas nodded still in shock and staring down at the hair , "I would like to cut my hair like Mr.Atlas's! " Angie said while smiling at Athena . "COME HERE ANGIE I'LL CUT IT!"- "NO!" Ayumi and Atlas said at the same time . "Hey guys is everything alri-" Myth said as he walked in and looked at them and bursted out laughing "ATHENA YOU LOOK LIKE YOU GOT ELECTROCUTED OR SOME SHIT." he turned to Akko laughing even more."We look gorg!" Athena said while flipping her one strand of hair and posing in the mirror , Mother Persephone would stare and gasp loudly and say ""WHAT ON EARTH HAPPENED?" Athena smiled and looked at her "I gave me and Akko a haircut!" Mother Persephone looked at Atlas, Myth and Ayumi and said "Go eat...i'll try and fix this." Atlas, Ayumi and Myth would run out than each start laughing at how stupid they looked . Meanwhile Angie was a bit nervous to ask Mother what she wanted to ask , Mother Persephone noticed how Angie looked and looked down at her "Is something wrong Angie?" she sighed and clutched her teddy bear and lifted her tiny glasses. "Well, I....I want my hair short like Mr. Atlas, I don't want girl hair or girl clothes anymore." Mother Persephone gasped a bit than gave her a reassuring smile and nodded. "Alright, come sit down here darling." Angie changed her nervous face to a smiling one and quickly sat down . While that was happening the other children were eating and still laughing about what happened, Amethyst turned to Ruth and asked "Are you excited about leaving Ruth? I see you're already changed." Myth looked up and watched both of them have a conversation knowing this was going to be Ruth's last few hours of living. "Yep! hopefully I have better siblings." Ruth said with a attitude and ate her soup , "Hopefully they don't give you back." Myth said as he smirked at her "Shut up." Ruth said angrily , Amethyst trying not to chuckle at what Myth said she got up and went to go wash her plate along with Elianna . Father Hiko would look at the clock and go up to Ruth , "Go get your belongings my dear, it's almost time." Ruth got up and ran towards the bedroom. Angie ran towards Atlas and Mina smiling "MR. ATLAS LOOK AT MY HAIR! MOTHER CUT IT!!" she said while squealing . Atlas smiled and lifted her up "It looks amazing Angie! You look great kiddo!" Atlas would say while patting her head. Mina ran her fingers through the girls hair and cupped her hands against her face squeezing Angie's cheeks (UPPER ONES) "YOU LOOK SO ADORABLE ANGIE!" Angie smiled holding her bear and ran up to Myth and the others showing them and getting tons of compliments . Atlas stared at Angie and smiled at how confident she was about herself. "EVERYONE COME TO THE FRONT!" Father said. It was now adoption time, Ruth would stand at the front next to Father and Mother , Atlas would go behind all the children and stare . Amethyst ran down the stairs to Angie and said "ANGIE WHERE'S THE CRYSTAL?!" Angie's eyes would widen , "I think I lost it..." Amethyst stared and tried to retrace where Angie was but stood still. "Everyone say goodbye to Ruth." Katarina and Ezekiel ran up and hugged her "GOODBYETH RUF WE WILL MITH U!"- "YEAH MAKE SURE TO WRITE LETTERS AND VISIT!" Ruth pushed them off rolling her eyes "Yeah yeah." Everest looked at her and bent down "Have fun little shi-" before he could finish he would get cut off by Elianna and said "Have a good time Ruth!" as everyone waved goodbye Mother would grab her hand and walk out holding the lantern . Myth stared at sighed walking back up to the room , everyone headed back to the rooms getting ready. Klaus stepped on something and yelled "FUCK! AMETHYST YOUR STUPID PEBBLE!" Myth picked it up and handed it to her , "Isn't this what you were looking for?" Amethyst would grab it and panic "OH MY GOD , SHE MUST'VE LEFT ALREADY."-"NO SHE MUST STILL BE OUTSIDE! I'LL GIVE IT TO HER!" Ayumi grabbed it and ran out, "AYUMI!" Atlas said following her making sure she wouldn't get in trouble Klaus would run out as well and peek his head in "I'll make sure she gets that stupid pebble don't worry." As Ayumi ran Atlas would try to catch up to her "AYUMI WAIT UP!" Ayumi looked back smiling running faster to the gate and finally making it, "WOO! ONE POINT AYUMI!" Atlas finally caught up and stood still panting and heavily breathing as he turned he saw Klaus as well Ayumi looked up and saw the gate open , "well she might still be here, let's give her this baby and say our final goodbyes!" Ayumi walked in and saw a truck , Atlas looked at the truck and looked around "Ayumi you dumbass we're not allowed to be here ya know." Ayumi turned and looked at him "We're giving her something we won't get in trouble." she said as she walked and looked around , Klaus fixed his scarf and sniffed the air. "It smells like shit here..." - "Well it is Ruth they're adopting so of course it smells." Klaus chuckled along with Ayumi than saw a truck , "Ah she might be in there!" Ayumi walked and looked at the truck up and down . "Wow , First time I've seen one up close...pretty neat." - "Indeed." Klaus said after Ayumi. As the kids got closer the smell got worse and worse , Klaus looked behind of the truck and saw a curtain "Ruth?" Klaus moved the curtain and stood still in horror of what he just saw. Atlas looked at him and got closer "Klaus what's wron-" Atlas would go pale and watch Ayumi as she looked into the truck and stood in shock as well. Klaus would turn trying to not puke and would breathe heavily . "S-she's ...." - "Dead." Ayumi said silently cutting Atlas off. They heard a noise and stared at each other and ran out to the front of the gate and hid behind the brick wall. It was Mother Persephone, she was with some odd looking creatures the kids overheard her. "We'll need smarter ones Persephone , Boss doesn't want any more idiots like this one." Mother Persephone nodded and said "I would've brought a smarter one but...a change of plans happened." The demons look down at her and went up to her ear, "Well next time we expect better. Doesn't matter if you love them , WE need them." Mother nodded looking down . Ayumi would stare and walk back slowly and than stepping on a twig by accident. Atlas and Klaus turned around in fear and looked at Ayumi who was shaking a bit . Mother Persephone turned around and ran to the brick wall and turned and saw nothing. "Persephone?" - "Uh , uhm ! yes?" she said back to the demon , "What are you doing?" the demon questioned, "Sorry I thought I heard someo-" she stopped talking and bent over picking something up and holding it up slowly. "Those kids." she mumbled under her breath holding up a crystal and sticking it in her apron pocket .
