We got the whole ass gang today,, okay so this is less of a crack-canon and more of one I fricking love--//))
So I head-canon that Beta Kokichi, (Who I call Kaneki-) Is Kokichi's blood related brother. They used to get along like the closest friends, peas in a pod type thing- but Kaneki did something awful (Ya'll can decide what idek) to Kokichi, and ever since they grew apart. Kokichi hates him so much he won't even say his name.

Mikan, ((Warning, this is a hc backstory, it ain't true)) who was put up for adoption by her mother- who couldn't afford to keep Mikan, was happily welcomed in by the Ouma family.
However the Ouma parents, being horribly abusive, starving and beating their children, caused their children to quickly hate them. (Aside from Kaneki, who was the favourite.)
Mikan- feeling so horrified by the family who took her in, decided to keep using her mother's last name, Tsumiki.
They rarely talk, the three, but when Mikan sees Kokichi she will protect and love the boy with her life.
