I felt a sharp, stabbing-like pain spread throughout my stomach. Clutching my stomach, I complained to Tubbo, "Tubbo, my stomach hurts!"
"Of course it does. We haven't eaten in almost a week." Tubbo gasped and groaned. It was probably a stomach ache, like Tubbo said, we haven't eaten in a while.
"Tubbo? You alright?" I can't help but ask him. I know what he'll say, but I still worry.
"'M fine, big man."
"Okay, Tubbo. I'll go back out to get some food, alright?"
"Hey, I'll be alright, Toms. Just go get somethin' to eat, I'm starvin'!" He reassured me.
I nodded, "Don't die, big T. I'm serious."
I didn't wait to hear Tubbo's response, I couldn't. Getting food was my top priority. It was midday, so the market was teeming with people, money, and food. I searched the crowd for a quick and easy target. It wasn't too hard as I found a blond man of average build with a kind face, he wouldn't mind if I bump into him, right? He has smile lines, so it isn't likely that he'll be a dick about it.
Colliding with his shoulder and part of his chest, I hurriedly searched for a coin pouch.
"Oh, I am so, so sorry," I exclaimed, pretending to look around for any damages. "Are you alright?"
The man gave a soft smile, "I'm alright, mate. Just look where you're going next time.
Patting his shoulder as a distraction, I finally grabbed a pouch. Nodding and apologizing again, I walk off with my bounty.
Please have money, please have money!
I opened the pouch, and lo and behold, there were coins in there. Not just any coins, silver coins! I rarely see common people carrying these around, that man must've been rich. Especially because the only coin in this pouch is silver.
At least I don't have to worry about stealing money for a while.
There was an apple stall near where I was, so I bought an entire bag of them for Tubbo and me. A blinding pain shoots through me right as my stomach growls, I need to get to Tubbo quickly.

There was a tall pristine building before me with two guards standing at the sides. The building was mainly white with prismarine highlights. It was truly made for the rich. I reached into my pocket to pull out my identification, hesitating when I didn't feel my money bag, and showed it to the guards. They allowed me inside the building and closed the door behind me. Technoblade, my oldest son, stood inside.
"Phil." Techno greeted.
"Techno, what a surprise to see you, I didn't expect you back 'til dusk." He told me that he would be out training, I wonder what changed?
"I decided to take Carl out for a ride, he needed it after being stuck in a stall for a few days." Ah, that made sense.
I started to walk towards my room, motioning for him to follow me. Techno was protective of me, so I hope he doesn't take this the way I think he will, "Well, I suppose it's good that you came because someone stole my money."
Techno stiffened.
"Now, I don't want you to get all upset like you normally do-"
"And why not? You were robbed."
I sighed, "You know very well why not, besides, it's just money." Arguing with him wasn't my favorite, but sometimes he needs to listen to me.
"Fine, do you at least know who did it?"
"Not for sure, my best guess would be a tall, blond, blue-eyed boy that bumped into me earlier. You used the same tactic when I met you. Techno, if you do search for him, promise me that you won't hurt him. He looked so tired, and dirty-"
"I know, Phil. I promise I won't hurt him."
Stopping in front of my guest room, I sighed in relief, "Good, I do not need another stray way too wary of us because you got mad at them, Tech. We both don't want another Ranboo situation to happen. Thank God Niki found him after that. I don't know what I would've done if he ran off to another town."
"Sorry..."
"It's okay, Tech! You made it up to Ranboo a while ago, you know he doesn't hold grudges."
"Let's rest, Techno. I need a break after today."
Techno said his goodbyes and left me alone. The soft tip-tapping of rain started up outside.
Please be okay, mate.
I thought, thinking of the blond boy.

I woke up to the sound of rain.
"Tubbo, wake up!"
Tubbo yawned, "What d'you want?"
"I tried to tell you earlier, but you were asleep-"
"Get to the point, Tommy." Tubbo chastised, rubbing the sleep from his eyes.
"Fine, such a killjoy! Anyway, I stole a bunch of money from this rich dude, look Tubbo! Look how much money I nabbed off him!" The small bag clinked as I brought it up to show him.
Tubbo paled, "Wh- What?! Tommy, what if he finds you? What if he hurts you? Oh, Ender- I don't know what I'd do if you got hurt, promise me that you'll be careful."
"Jeez, Tubs, I'll be fine."
"No, Tommy. You need to promise me. They could find out what we are, and you don't understand how dangerous that is."
He's right, I don't understand. I don't remember what happened to mom and dad, but I need him to trust me when I say that it'll be fine. "I know, Tubbo. But trust me, I didn't use my magic at all. And even if he did find us, I doubt he would find out about our powers. I have great control, and your magic isn't exactly a fighting type like mine."
"Sh! Tommy!"
"Sorry! Sorry!"
Tubbo sighed, "I trust you, Tommy. But if he finds out and it's somehow your fault, you will not see the light of day ever again."
When Tubbo turned his back to continue his nap, I mocked him.
"Light of day? Gone."
I shut my mouth after that.

lmao changed my writing style. Do you guys like it? I tried to make it resemble actual books, tell me how I did! (also pick up an actual book, they're good stories too, just finished reading 'Daughter of the Pirate King', it was good asf totally recommend it if you like sassy and sarcastic mc's with twists, mysteries, and romance, also angst bc the mc and love interest both have traumatic backstories)
