Chapter 19 - Suprise

Emma's POV

I woke up in my bed. How did I get in my bed?! I remember the last thing before I feel asleep was that we were watching a movie. I guess someone had picked me up and brought me here, but this was not my room. I turned around to be face to face with a mop of blond hair.

I felt his hand on my waist tighten as if he had to protect me from something. He turned around and I was starring into his blue eyes.

"You know it's not nice to stare", he asked me, mocking me.

"That's all you gotta say?", I mean seriously no good morning.

"How about, good morning beautiful", he chirped. I looked at the clock to see it read 8:00 am.

"Nooooooo!!!!", I yelled in his face.

"Well then what do you want me to say?", He asked with confusion clear on his face.

"No not you! I am late for school!!", I ripped the covers off my body and sprinted across the hall to my room.

I ran into my closet trying to find some decent clothes. I found a pair of light blue jeans that were a little bit ripped. Our dress code says were are not allowed to wear ripped jeans but these weren't ripped that much. I didn't take a lot of effort so I just threw over a Nash Grier hoddie. Yes I am a fan if you are asking. (Who else like Nash, Cam, Hayes, Carter, Jack and Jack, ...?)

I ran downstairs to see Dove eating her breakfast.

"Do you know what time it is?!? We are gonna be super later if we don't get there soon!!", She turned to me and put her dishes in the sink.

"Yeah whatever. By the way if u didn't know Niall is", I have confused look and she just shrugged.

"You know what forget it, you will see later but we better hurry. Car is waiting outside", I grabbed an apple wound wrong what she was going to say about Niall.

-Skips car ride to school-

When we got to school I had exactly 2 minutes to get all the way across campus. We were going to the same class. I knew I was going to be late so I didn't even try. The bell rang and we walked into the classroom.

"Mrs. Flores and her friend, why are we late", you do not need to stick your nose in my beeswax. Of course I didn't say that. I preferred the nicer version.

"I woke up late and there was lots if traffic", I gave Mrs. Belton a big smile taking my seat next to Hayley.

"Ugh I don't get why people always stare when I come late or something. It's like a monster walked in", she nodded with approval texting her boyfriend Kevin. She always does this during class.

"Okay I would like you to welcome our new student. He will be here any minute and I understand he is an exchange student from Ireland. I was told he was living with you Emma? So Hayley please move and make room for him. He will be sitting next to Emma", Hayley groaned getting up. Who the hell was she talking about.

The door opened and in walked.... NIALL?!! I have Dove a look and she gave me the sorry look. Oh that's what she was telling me about. Of course Niall was wearing a disguise and only me and Dove knew. (Idea by booksLu )

"So why don't you introduce yourself?", Mrs. Belton asked nodding at Niall.

"Ello me name is uhm, me name is James, I am from Ireland and I guess that's it", he made no effort hiding his accent which was pretty easy to recognize. He walked over to me sitting right next to me.
