Mona was not losing her mind for the next day, not pacing around her room frantically and totally not freaking out on how she could think about what she wanted to buy for once. She can buy something she wanted, not needed, this was such a foreign territory for her. Well from her period of being poor of Mora, this saved her from some form of guilt to Lumine.

Before she began losing her mind, she remembered to check whether the dorm needed some resupplying of food at all, maybe she could do a round of shopping for Lumine this time and make a small surprise.

"Yes, I should!" Mona jumped with stars glittering in her eyes and immediately headed off to the cupboards in the kitchen. Before storming away to the shops near the campus, surprisingly Lumine didn't check up on Mona while she was FaceTiming her brother.

Around half an hour later, Mona came back with a bag with some snacks and muffins since they had food for lunch but not breakfast, and when Mona looked up after closing the door behind her. Lumine's mouth was wide open from what she was seeing.

"When did you get a job!?" Lumine almost screeched at the top of her lungs, "You got one!?"

"Lumine," Mona had to quickly gulp a nervous nerve down, she forgot about having to explain how she suddenly got Mora now, "Yeah, turns out they pay like immediately when you get the job."

As if Lumine would believe that bullshit.

And she actually did believe it.

"That's really good! You got a job now!" Lumine was bouncing around the dorm, clearly she was happy for Mona, "Hopefully your boss isn't as much as a dick as the last one."

"Yep, I hope so too." Mona nodded along, her 'boss' was definitely not a dick at all but Mona couldn't tell how Lumine might react once or if she ever finds out Mona basically got money from someone she never met.

"Oh and Albedo made a small painting for a couple people," Lumine quickly went into her room to grab something, "He said this one is yours."

As she passed the small A3 size painting to Mona, she thought of why Albedo would make specific art for her since they haven't met for a while except for the occasional group hang out. But nevertheless, she wondered what this painting might be as he was a pretty good artist for a chemistry student.

When she flipped the painting over, her eyes spotted a couple flowers that were distinctly drawn from the fusion of colours; gardenia, amaryllis and a lotus flower spotted in the middle of a lake-like shape in the middle of the painting.

From what she remembered from flower symbolism for one of her essay writings, amaryllis means pride while a lotus flower means something along the lines of rebirth but she had forgotten what gardenia meant so she simply thought it might be a coincidence that three different type of flowers happened to grow in the same place.

Most of the flowers were blended together in the wavy-like painting that was in her hands, it was impressive that Albedo could fit this much detail into a small canvas that he had. But she couldn't help but notice the three flowers that stood out to her, she could recognise it thanks to the one painful flower essay though she doesn't think Albedo would know the meanings as well.

To be honest, where did Albedo and Lumine go to see this scenery?

"Tell Albedo thanks, it's really beautiful." Mona went ahead to put the bag of food onto the kitchen table and went ahead to place the painting on her bed counter.

"Will do," Lumine smiled and had a look in whatever Mona bought from the shops, "Oh my god you bought my favourite sweets!"
