how do some people not have a crush on sunmi is beyond me

~~~
jisung couldn't sleep once again. this time it wasn't the memories that wouldn't let him. it was the texts.
there were articles and tweets and streams, even covers of his song, the one he wrote about his breakup.
a week since 'driver's license', jisung's first solo single, was released everyone started listening to it. it was on all of the charts. everyone knew about his and minho's relationship now and even though this was never jisung's goal, he was still content that people could relate to him and his heartbreak.
minho hadn't talked to him since they broke up. maybe he was busy with hyunjin. it still hurt that he was acting like jisung didn't exist anymore though. everyone knew what jisung had gone through but minho still acted like the song didn't concern him, as if he didn't know what this was about. jisung kind of wished he could snap him to reality and force him to talk about driver's license. about his promise. about what he felt and when his heart changed.
but jisung wouldn't dare ask this question, even if the circumstances allowed it. he was afraid that the answer could be worse than anything he had imagined. the possibility of minho being honest with him terrified jisung inexplicably.
someone else was also tortured by the situation as well and it wasn't minho.
hyunjin, minho's new boyfriend, was anxious about the whole thing beyond words. he never thought he would be participating in a cat fight about a boy. he had won, and that was obvious, but he didn't like playing dirty and the accusation of that made him agitated and regretful. and he didn't want to regret minho. they had been together only for a short time and he couldn't pin the drama on minho. if anything, he was the one who persuaded minho to go out together.
hyunjin wasn't thinking anything about this, he didn't know lee know was dating someone. his relationship with jisung, despite being explicit enough now, had never been public. but hyunjin had thought that once they were done minho would be available and nobody would have any hard feelings.
hyunjin was honestly fine with just being friends with benefits with minho, and he was also fine with things between them not working out at all but the outrage that this caused was over the top.
and even though minho was continuously telling hyunjin not to pay any attention to that drama, the boy couldn't help it. he asked himself if jisung had had the right to call him out like that and the thought of that was eating him alive.
and you're probably with that blonde guy
who always made me doubt
he's so much taller than me
he's everything i'm insecure about
hyunjin couldn't get that lyric out of his mind. blonde. so much taller. it was for him. that was sure, no matter what anyone said.
and he didn't know how to feel. the other boy was frail, small and that song was just him, getting his emotions out, trying to get his point across. in fact, the opponent looked so insignificant to hyunjin that he felt real pity for him.
and if jisung hadn't called him out so lowly in that track, hyunjin would have definitely messaged him to check on him and support him through his breakup that was clearly rough.
well, he won't do that now.
as the days went by, more and more people were getting the idea that the song had to do with hyunjin. his phone started buzzing all the time too.
nobody was accusing hyunjin though. some people were calling him to joke about it, some were outraged by the author's audacity to call the blonde out so obviously in a song, and some were just calling to see how the recipient felt about this whole thing (and to see if there could be more drama).
minho advised his boyfriend not to pick up. he didn't know what else to say. why did jisung have to be so fucking explicit in the song?
