Chapter nine

When we walk into the great hall diner is already happening. George and I are standing in the doorway when all eyes are on us. We walk quickly to the Gryffindor table and talk a seat by Fred and Rose. I keep looking down scared to look at Fred. ' Dear students.' The voice of Dumbledore sounds. ' I think you all know that Sirius Black is seen in the castle. Don't panic. The Ravenclaws, Slytherins and Hufflepuffs can after dinner return to their common room together with the head of their house. The Gryffindors stay in the great hall and will sleep here tonight. The common room is not save enough yet. it seems obvious to me that after dinner no students are allowed to leave their common room or the great hall. So quidditch practice, detention or any other activities are cancelled this night. also, the head boys en girls are not allowed out of their common room. Be careful and stay sensible. Then now you can follow the head of your house back to the common room.' The other houses leave the great hall only the Gryffindors stay in the great hall. I close my eyes and lay my head on George's shoulder. The professors turn the great hall into a sleeping place. 'girls to the right and boys to the left.' McGonagall says. The twins, Rose and I take the sleeping backs closest to the dividing line. It is cold in the great hall my hands are still light shaking. 'are you oke sky?' rose asks. I look up and nod slowly 'yeah just not feeling well...' I lie. Rose nods. 'it is time to sleep!' I hear Percy yell trough the hall. I get in my sleeping back looking to the ceiling there is a starry sky now. 'sky...?' I hear a voice next to me whisper. I turn around facing George. 'you oke..?' he whispers. 'I'm-... what if he is here in the castle?' 'you are save here Sky I promise.' 'but what about the other students.' 'the professors will protect them.' I nod slowly still a bit shaky. I don't know if it is because I'm cold or out of fear. 'sky' George whispers. I look at him again. George opens his arms 'come here.' I smile and lie down in his arms. It feels save laying in my best friends arms. So it wouldn't take long for me to fall asleep. After an hour Percy was walking another round. He stops when he sees his younger brother sleeping with the girl he never shut up about in his arms. Percy smiles. He knows it is officially not allowed for boys and girls to sleep in each other's dorm. The professors also told him that they had to look if there where boys and girl sleeping with each other now in the great hall. George and Skyler were the perfect example of that case. As head boy, Percy should step in if he sees this but he didn't. Maybe it was because George is his brother or maybe it is because Skyler was acting off since she and George came back into the great hall. Percy didn't know the reason but he did know that the two younger students where peaceful asleep and he would rather keep it that way. He smiles one more time at the duo before returning to his own sleeping back.

I wake up It is still early. I can see the sunrise through the window. 'morning' I hear George whisper. I look up and smile 'good morning' George stretches himself out. 'slept well?' I nod 'yeah, you?' 'well, my bed is still more comfortable.' I laugh softly. 'I will take that.' George laughs. He looks at our bodies who are still close to each other. I quickly take a bit of distance. 'sorry' 'it is okay Sky.' He smiles. I smile back. I want to say something when a voice yells through the hall. 'Wake Up students! It's a new day your lessons are going to start in one and a half hour!' it is the voice of McGonagall. I hear Fred groan. 'I don't want to go to the lessons' 'I'm afraid you don't have a choice, Freddie.' I laugh and throw my pillow at Fred. 'fuck you Skyler' Fred says 'no thanks.' Rose, George and I laugh while Fred looks at me with a grumpy face. 'ATTENTION STUDENTS! First, you go to your dorm to get ready and in half an hour you will return for breakfast. After that, you will go to your lessons. So now follow the head boy and girl to the tower.' All students get up including the four of us and walk to the Gryffindor tower. Rose and I walk to our dorm. I take out my uniform. 'Sky are you oke?' Rose asks out of nowhere. I turn around. 'you why shouldn't I?' 'you just seem a bit off since last night.' 'oh yeah, I was just a bit shocked I mean there was a killer in school' I try to laugh a bit to sound more convincing. Rose nod slowly. 'if you say so.' I nod and search for my books. I can't tell Rose about my father just not yet. 'ready to go?' I ask rose when I found all of my books. She nods ' oke let go then' we walk down the stairs where Fred en George are already waiting for us. 'why do you girls always take so long' Fred complains. 'because we like to annoy you Freddie' I say with a smile. ' oh shut up' he says and hit the back of my head. 'hey don't do that 'oh why not?' he hit me again. ' watch out Weasley!' 'or what Mckinnon' I look at him. I snap my fingers and Fred legs can't move anymore causing him to fall on the ground. ' SKYLER' he yells. I laugh 'I warned you' George and Rose try their best not to laugh. 'good luck Weasley' I say with a grin on my face and the three of us walk on to class. ' HEY, YOU CAN'T JUST LEAVE ME ON THE GROUND!!!' Fred yells after us. 'WE CAN!' I yell back and we all start laughing as we see Fred trying to make his legs work again. We walk into the classroom and take place where we always site. Rose and me last row on the right and Fred and George one row in front of us. Professor Lupin looks at us with a questionable look on his face ' where is umber four?' we start laughing again. 'he will be here soon professor.' I say. He nods slowly 'oke?' Professor Lupin starts the lesson when in about ten minutes the door opens and Fred coms in. Hopping. 'SKYLER THE MOTHER FUCKING BITCH YOU ARE' he yells. George, Rose and I start laughing again. Hard. Our other classmates look with big eyes at Fred and professor Lupin tries his best not to laugh. 'you oke Freddie?' I ask 'NO MY LEGS ARE NOT WORKING!' I laugh again snap my fingers and Fred's legs work again. He walks to the spot next to George. 'I will get you McKinnon' he whispers. 'deal' I whisper. The bell rings and everybody gets up. We want to walk out with the others when I hear professor Lupin. 'Skyler do you have a moment.' I turn around ' yeah what is it?' he waits until everybody is gone and closes the door. 'how are you after what happened yesterday.' I sign and take a seat on one of the tables. 'I- I don't know... all my life I wanted to know why he left me alone... but when I saw him yesterday I was scared... I'm never scared but when he was standing in front of me it was so-.... I don't know...' professor lupin nods slowly. ' he would never hurt you, Skyler, he loves you more than anything in this world.' He lays his hand on my shoulder. 'if he tries to contact you come to me okay? If you want to get in contact or see him I will go with you? If you want that.' I nod. ' thank you, professor. Or do I need to say Uncle moony?' he laughs. ' that is a long time ago. But I think you have to go to your next class.' I nod, I walk towards the door when I turn around. Without thinking I hug him. 'thank you, moony' I say softly. Professor lupin smiles and hugs back. 'always little pup' I smile, little pup that's how my father and his friends used to called me when I was little. ' be careful Skyler' ' I will be.'
