“Hinata will you sit down already. You’re making me dizzy. I don’t need any more dizzy spells I have more than enough without your help.” I stared at my best friend as she glared at me from where she stood only a few feet away from me.
“That’s easy for you to say you’re already married to the man you love. Now leave me be.” She continued to pace around the room once more.
A light knock at the door caught my attention fallowed by Sasuke stepping into the room. I smiled up at my husband as he stepped into the room. He stared at Hinata and back at me raising his eyebrow.
I smiled at him shaking my head, “She’s just nervous it’s not every day you get to marry the one you love. Especially not in front of the whole Leaf Village and more.”
Sasuke walked over standing behind me wrapping his arms around my stomach. He leaned his head aganst my shoulder his breath tickling my neck, “Not everyone has the opportunity to marry the one they love twice. We got lucky. I’m surprised it’s even taken them this long to finally set a date.”
I laughed putting my hands on top of his. I leaned further into his arms I was beyond tiered and wanted nothing more than to sleep but I couldn’t miss such an important day in my best friends life. I watched as Hinata once more stopped by the full-length mirror staring at her reflection. She really did look beautiful in a simple flowing white dress her train trailing after her.
I jumped as I felt two little kicks. I glanced up as Sasuke my lips turning up into a wide grin, “Did you feel that?”
“Yeah they’re both kicking more day by day. They’re both going to be little troublemakers just like their Mother.” He laughed as I glared at him.
I pretended to be insulted, “Like their Mother, more like their Father and uncle Naruto. You two are just ridiculous you two act more like children than grown men.”
He chuckled as he pulled me closer to him avoiding putting to much pressure on my swollen belly, “We may act like children but you and Hinata let us get away with it. So you two are just at fault as us.”
I laughed staring at my friend once more. Hinata was beyond nervous I could see it in her form as she continued to pace around the room, “Hinata will you stop already the ceremony is about to start.” I swatted Sasuke hands away. “And you go make sure that the groom is ready. We’ll be right behind you.”
Sasuke stole a quick kiss from me sticking his tongue out at me winking as he made his escape. I’ll get him back later for now I had a bride I had to escort down the aisle. I walked over to Hinata’s side offering her my arm, “It’s time.”
For a second she just stared at my arm I thought she might be getting cold feet about the whole thing. But she smiled at me looping her arm with mine, “I can’t believe this actually happening.”
I laughed at her disbelief you think she would have gotten used to the ide by now. It been almost two years since she pulled along to every location trying to find the perfect decorations and dress to make this day the most memorable day of her life, “Well it will hit you soon enough.”
We walked through the back soji doors that lead to the large garden outside. There were guests standing on either side as we walked down the aisle. I focused on the three men and woman that were at the end of the aisle. Naruto had a goofy smile on his face as he watched his bride come down the aisle.
Once we reached them I placed Hinata’s hand in Naruto’s I lowered my voice so only he could hear me, “I’m only warning you once Naruto. If you ever hurt Hinata I will hunt you down. Believe me you don’t want to see what I am capable of.”
Naruto stared at me then at Hinanta. He pulled her closer to him, “I wouldn’t even dream of it.”
I smiled as I took my place next to Keiko. It was nice seeing her again. Her and Takeshi had just returned from their own honeymoon not so long ago. From the way Keiko was acting I was certain that I would be an aunt soon.
I watched as Naruto and Hinata repeated the vows the priests said to them. Hinata was practically glowing from the happiness of finally getting to marry the man she loved most. As they said their I do and they sealed their marriage with a kiss I stared at my own husband who looked like he was more than ready to call it a day as well.
I laughed as I read his lips, “We’re skipping the reception no excuses.”
I pulled Hianta into a hug before I lost my opportunity. I knew there would be no chance for me to congratulate the new bride once the rest of the guests got to her. Pulling her as close as I could I whisper into her ear, “I soon hope to hear about your own little bun in the oven once you two return from your honeymoon.”
I watched as her entire face became as red as a fresh rose, “Rika your hormones really are all over the place right now.”
I watched as she disappeared into the sea of guests coagulating the two newlyweds. Sasuke appeared by my side once more pulling me into his arms, “Ready to go home? I’m sure that your tiered it’s been a long day.”
I sighed letting my body rest against Sasuke’s. I grumbled under my breath so only he could hear me, “Like I have a choice in the matter.”
Sasuke placed his hand on my belly, “Not as long as you’re my wife, the woman I love and your carrying my sons you don’t.”
I let him lead me away from the wedding as he guided me back to our home. I tried fighting off a yawn but failed miserably. Who would have thought carrying twins would make you so tiered all the time.
