URGENT MESSAGE!

So Wattpad is getting bought by Naver, the company behind webtoon, and that's not looking good for me because I heard they're planning on deleting all NSFW, LGBT+, and abuse fics. I don't know if my fics will be touched in this purge so in a few days I will be unpublishing all of my works and uploading them to Webnovel under the same name. I'd like to note I heard this from another writer on this app but I'm not taking my chances with whether or not they were right.

I will be posting this message on all my published stories.
Edit: Change of plans. I will be posting on Wattpad and AO3 but I'm planning on eventually posting exclusively on AO3. That won't be happening until summer at the earliest though. If you're looking for me on AO3 my username is CurrantlyDoingThat.

Wattpad has never done a good job of supporting author's of fanworks. They recently deleted a ton of HP fanfics and are notorious for deleting an author's work, or even their account, without warning or a means to remedy the situation. Their app has been going to shit for a long while. Just recently when I tried to post an announcement, the app failed to do so only giving me an "Update not posted" message. I had wanted to post my edit as an announcement also but I'm still running into the same issues.

Let's not even talk about the under review comments. I have run into several people in comment sections typing in the n-word with a hard er and nothing happens to them. There's no banning no removing comments. It's just grayed out.

Then there's the fact that Wattpad couldn't be bothered to tell it's users that it had been hacked and it's users info was stolen until an entire month had passed.

I hate the way Wattpad runs things but I can't deny that it really helped me build my audience. I'm so glad you guys enjoy my writing and I can't just leave like this and I can't leave this unfinished

TL;DR: Wattpad has issues. Find me on AO3 @ CurrantlyDoingThat but I'll still be here until the summer.
