TWO OF A KIND -Y/n's life with the Avengers

Chapter 3

After you've finished getting Ready, you make your way to the common room.
You wanted to have a quick chat with Tony About something work related, but he wasn't here. Instead Peter came up to you: "Y/n, hey!"

"Oh hey Pete, what's up? If you want to apologize it's fine, no need to."

"I- how did you know? And are you sure..? I really don't wanna  mess things up or anything I-"

"Pete,", I smile at him, "it's alright, don't you worry." I pat his arm gently.

He smiles at me with those big brown eyes of his. God he's so precious.

"Would you like to hang out or uhm something like that? With me I mean! " He seems so excited, I feel bad for turning him down. "I'd love to but I'm meeting up with Nat. Some other time though, alright?"

"Oh yeah ok sure no problem. Have fun.." He seemed so disappointed :( "Uhm are you two friends or like..more?", he asks shyly.

I can't help but laugh a little. Is he jealous? "We're just friends Pete", I grin, "no worries."

He blushes slightly and smiles. "Oh okay haha", he scratches his neck.

"Alright then, see you!" I leave and make my way to Nat's apartment.

I ring the doorbell when I've arrived and Nat opens. "Hey Y/n, good to see you, come in."

I come inside and look around. Everything about her apartment is really simple but it's still very nice.

She sits down on her couch and tells me to sit down as well, which I do then.

"How was your day?", I ask her.

"Oh, nothing special really, the usual. Yours?"

"Oh yeah me too, just training.", I answer nodding.

"Okay~", she smiles at me. I smile back a bit shyly. For some reason she makes me feel intimidated.

"So,", she says, placing her hand on my thigh making me blush hard, "anything new? Regarding your love life I mean. What about the Captain, hm?" She smirks at me.

"U-uh I uhm no not really. Steve and I are not.. together or anything like that, if that's what you mean."

"Ah I see. But like, do you like him?"

"Uhm I mean yeah why not"

"Anyone else you're interested in? Maybe Peter? Or Loki?"

I widen my eyes. "W-what?? Loki? Why-why would you think that??"

She grins. "Aha, jackpot."

My cheeks were very red, I could feel it. "It's really not what you think! We just.. we just like to spend time together. That's all."

"Oh Y/n, you can tell me sweety." She smirks.

"Okay fine!! But don't tell anyone, it's complicated."

"Complicated? How's that?"

"I'm just not sure about my feelings, okay?"

"I see. But right now, what do you feel? Regarding him."

"I uhm I don't know.. he's so handsome and tall and.. dominant I guess." I knew I was blushing. God this was embarrassing. "He's so powerful and determined. He's just.. hot. I suppose. Sort of addictive."

She just smirks at me.

"You get it..?", I ask. The silence is making me feel awkward as if I've said something wrong.

"Oh I totally do, darling"

I widen my eyes as I'm suddenly not looking at Nat anymore but at Loki's mischevious grin.
