Chapter 2: Beyond the Corona Walls Part 2

"Somebody somewhere has to know who took Eugene," Rapunzel said. She handed all of us wanted posters so we could find him. "We'll cover more ground if we split up. Y/N you're with me," She said walking off. You groaned, "Fine."

You kept asking around, everyone would shake their heads or just walk away without saying anything. Some people even avoided you and the others, it was no use. "No one wants to talk," Hook Foot said. Cassandra sighed. "Look, Raps we've been at this for hours maybe we should go back to Corona and run a cavalry. If we leave know we'll be back in two weeks- You're right. I'm so sorry, please stop looking at me like that." "What's the matter princess looking for your boyfriend." The girl that was selling weapons said. 

Rapunzel tied her hair to a poll and pulled herself up, to where the girl was. She grabbed her by the collar. "You know something! What do you know?! Tell me now or so help me!" The rest of you were watching from below shocked about what Rapunzel did. "I don't need to tell you nothing," The girl spat. You heard music coming from down the street. Rapunzel went to where you were and started to run to where the sound was coming from. You and the others followed her. An orange-haired man with a weird looking eye came on the stage. 

"Hey, that's the guy that attacked us," Hook Foot said. "The Barron has something he would like to say." The man walked off the stage while a taller man with yellow hair came onto the stage. "The Barron Barron?" Rapunzel asked. Cassandra shrugged. "Can someone tell me who the Barron is?" You asked. Cassandra and Rapunzel walked to the front of the crowd with Hook Foot following. "Yeah, just ignore everything I say. That's fine." You walked to the front of the crowd.

The Barron had a speech about making the people's lives better and giving them a reason to celebrate. "I am pleased to announce the reengagement of my daughter, Stalyn." A red-haired girl wearing a mini-skirt and knee-high boots came on the stage. "Wait the Barron's daughter?" Rapunzel seemed confused. "What a daughter," Hook Foot said almost entranced by her beauty. "Yeah, I don't see the resemblance." You said. 

"With her fiance, Flynn Rider," The Barron continued. Eugene came on stage. Rapunzel tried to ask what was going on but all he said was that he made his choice. "Wow. This just got interesting," You said. The others glared at you. "What," you shrugged. 

____Your P.O.V____

"So do I have to come to this rescue mission?" I asked. Rapunzel and the others were going to go to the wedding to save Eugene. "There is no way your coming. It'd be easy for you to runoff," Cassandra said, "You're staying here."  Yes! Now I can get out of here and get away from these people. I heard a click. I looked down at my wrist and saw that I was in my cuffs again. "Hey, what happened to trust?" I looked at Rapunzel. "We'll be back with Eugene and Lance, then you'll be out of those." She said. They went off to get Eugene and Lance back.

Normal P.O.V

You were sitting on one of the logs around the fire. "How long is this going to take?" You groaned. You walked over to Fidella. "By any chance do you know where the keys for these are?" You asked holding up your wrist. She nodded her head. "Great so where are they?" She neighed as a way of saying she wouldn't tell you. "What these hurt my wrist. If you're worried about me leaving keep this in mind, do you think I can outrun a horse?"     

She gestured to the bag that was attached to her saddle. You opened it and grabbed the key that was inside. "Thanks." You tried to unlock the cuffs but it was harder than you thought. You went over to Fidella and chuckled nervously, "So, can you help me out with these?" You asked. She rolled her eyes. She took the key from your hands and unlocked your cuffs. You rubbed your wrist, "That feels so much better." You sat on the log you were sitting on earlier. You sighed, "I miss you, Varian." 

At the castle, Varian was looking through the window in his cell. He sighed, "I miss you, Y/N."

___Your P.O.V___

The rescue mission was succesful. They brought Eugene and Lance back, oh yeah, and Shorty. After Rapunzel finished talking to the strange lady, whose name is Adira, we were ready to continue our journey. "C'mon let's get this show on the road!" I said, sounding enthusiastic. "Well, someone's excited," Eugene said smirking. "I just want to get going. The sooner we finish this trip the sooner we get back to Corona, and the sooner we get back to Corona the sooner I can see Varian."

I went back in the caravan and grabbed the journal Rapunzel gave me. I wrote about what happened today, and I drew some of the events. If I'm being honest I actually am kind of excited to know where the rocks are taking Rapunzel, but I would never say that out loud.
